Music - This year I actually didn’t buy all that many new cds but there were a lot of songs that I couldn’t get enough of at one time or another this year.

#1 Suicide Messiah - Black Label Society. OMG do I love this song and if I was picking a cd of the year Mafia would be it.
#2 Reefer Madness movie soundtrack - okay, it wasn’t actually available for purchase but I watched the movie multiple times because I loved the songs so much.

Books - Sadly, I didn’t read that many books that really grabbed me but my reading list was a little unbalanced due to my devoting so much time to just one author. So...

1. everything Jonathan Carroll - I knew he had a new book coming in the fall so I decided to go back and re-read all his books in the order in which they were published. I fell in love all over again. Amusingly enough, I didn’t even get to start the new one (Glass Soup) until December 31st but I’m definitely going to savor it.
2. The Pajama Game - Eugenie Seifer Olson
3. Sweet and Vicious - David Schickler
4. The Princess Diaries - Meg Cabot

TV - It was a good year for tv unless you want to talk about how many of my beloved shows were cancelled.
