Kellyann is formally trained in Graphic Design. Japanese design sensibilities continually draw her attention based upon the
level of refinement. Kellyann is strongly influenced by line & form in her work. Considered a colorist in design school
& in her most recent critiques, she evokes strong emotions through her color palette. Nature plays a strong role in refining
& mixing her color palette. Photography & abstract painting compete for her attention. Kellyann's photography has
a painterly element, which she strives to emulate in her painting. Photography captures a moment, and painting requires one
to work to create a moment, thus is her pursuit.
