More than 20 years of experience providing management and consultation on multi-million dollar technical programs and for commercial business enterprises.  Background includes Strategic and Business Planning, Technical Compliance and Control, Quote Preparation, Contract Negotiations and Pricing.  Reputation for leading projects from concept through implementation and assuring that marketing and profitability objects are met.  Proven record of dealing with internal and external customers, both domestic and international as well as with subcontractors, vendors and associate contractors. Experience in Finance Controls and Scheduling including Estimating, Project Budgets and Performance Matrix.  PC proficient with an extensive computer background.  A team player with superior training, motivating and team building skills.

Served as advocate for Concurrent Engineering, Continuous Process Improvement and team formation including Total Quality Teams.  Experienced in leading ISO 9000 implementation and management initiatives.  Background in development of policies and procedures and in technical documentation including the generation of requirements, system, design, qualification and evaluation specifications and reports.  This background is augmented by an MBA degree from California Lutheran University, with an emphasis in Information Technology Management, a BSEE degree from the University of Southern California, and a Professional Engineer License in Manufacturing Engineering from the State of California.

Developed, doucmented and implemented successful commercial and industrial Business Plans, Marketing Plans, and Strategic Analyses.

Achieved a 56% reduction in delivery schedule over the company’s previous best, a 71% reduction in previous typical.  Achieved a 20% cost dollar savings above the projected profit.

Assured that engineering and related functions passed ISO 9001 certification which was achieved with only one minor finding and the best margin of all similar businesses at that time.

Instituted the principals of shared participation, responsibility and accountability of all departments of the product development process - Integrated Product Delivery and Support (IPDS). Resulted in a 30% productivity improvement.

Introduced initiatives including: concurrent engineering, continuous process improvement, process management, process control key characteristics (DI-9000), total quality management (TQM), team leadership, quality system (ISO 9000), process improvement/operational excellence (6 Sigma).
