Who is Keith Oien? I was born and raised in Southern California, where I graduated from Paramount Senior High School. As I have spent considerable time in Montana and it is the state of my parents’ birth, Montana hold a special place in my heart. I currently live in Santa Clarita California. I have been happily married for over 25 years to my wife Kathy and have four children to be proud of: Paul, Kara, Maren, and Jon. I have been and continue to be firm in my Christian (Lutheran) faith. I received my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Additionally I did undergraduate study at California State University Long Beach and the Royal University of Uppsala, Sweden. Since receiving my undergraduate degree I have taken courses from numerous institutions, including the University of California Los Angeles and California State University Northridge. I received a certificate in Law for Business Leadership from the now defunct LaSalle University (Chicago, Illinois) and my Master of Business Administration (MBA) from California Lutheran University with an emphasis in Information Technology Management. I have worked for several business as a captive employee, the longest being over 20 years for a now defunct aerospace-defense business. Since 1997 I have worked as an independent business consultant.
