August 6, A.D. 2006:

Ana's been busy the last few weeks, pulling herself up on her feet, hitting 14.6 lbs., throwing up in the car (no pictures, thankfully), sprouting a tooth, and hangin' out with Johnny and Jesse at Baba Ghannouj.

 

July 29, A.D. 2006:

Here's another sneak preview from our garden. Watch out for those siamese tomatoes!

 

July 28, A.D. 2006:

We've been pretty lax on picture taking the last few weeks, but here's a sneak preview of the next set of photos coming soon. We also put up a nifty video in the photo album, so check it out.

July 11, A.D. 2006:

Last week was spent in TN with grandparents, aunts, uncles, angels, and demons. Ana's nine months old now and still no teeth or crawlin'.

 

June 24, A.D. 2006:

The past two weeks have been action packed. Ana received a visit from her Uncle Sam. We went to the beach and then partied 'til the cows came home... or at least until the softball game started.

 

June 14, A.D. 2006:

Happy Pappy's Day! We have pictures from the park, the tub, the car seat, the table, and the floor. These are many of the places you'll find Ana in a typical month. You can also go here to see some pics Keith took for the mothers and daughters at church.

 

May 15, A.D. 2006:

O.K. Four weeks have passed in which Erin and Ana travelled to TN while Keith lead music at our church's men's retreat. Keith has also been working on the videos for the Da Vinci Code seminars at church. Check out this week's pics to see how upset Ana can get with strangers and to see her talent as an impersonator, and then go here to learn how to treat your mother right.

 

April 21, A.D. 2006:

Something new: We've put up an example of some of the video projects Keith does from time to time. Here is an intro video for one of Keith's family's old (1985) home videos. The quality's not the greatest, for my disc space is small. Anyway, we hope you enjoy!

 

April 17, A.D. 2006:

We hope you had a happy Easter or, as some may say, Anastasia Day and are Vivian by your faith in the risen King. Our pictures this week show Ana eating her first big person meal of avocados on her six month birthday. You'll also see the return of the ducky tub, the last tulip pics of '06, and a young padawan learning the ways of the force.

 

April 7, A.D. 2006:

Keith participated in our church's Easter play last weekend. You can see a few pictures here and a lot of pictures here courtesy of Robin Davis of Action Memories Photo. "So what did Keith do?" you might ask. As a clue, here is the first line of his monologue translated into Spanish: Me llamo Juan, tu hermano.

March 13, A.D. 2006:

Once again, we have watched three weeks slip by without participating in the digital revolution. Of course, we've been busy chillin' with the Palmers, celebrating two birthdays, Meme's and Mommy's, and taking pictures of young crazy people. Meanwhile, Ana has surpassed the 12lb. mark and now enjoys sticking her foot in her mouth (without even saying anything).

 

February 20, A.D. 2006:

Happy President's Day! Or is that Presidents' Day? Anyway, it's been three weeks and what a three weeks it has been. Ana is now sitting up pretty well under her own strength and has sat at the table with us a couple of times in her booster chair. She is also rolling over every now and then and "talking" more. We also had a visit from all four grandparents, and Ana passed her 4 month doctor visit with flying colors. As for Mommy, she is excited to get back into her old jeans, and she really enjoyed the exotic flowers she received from Daddy for Valentine's Day. As for Daddy, he still wonders what he is doing and has made his first comic book purchase in a decade.

 

January 31, A.D. 2006:

There's actually some non-Ana pics up this week from our walk in the park and of our Christmas cactus that is blooming and of a random squirrel. Check'em out here. We also slightly modified the Links page. Cuteness report: Ana grabs her feet now when her diaper is being changed.

 

January 17, A.D. 2006:

So like, Ana's 14 weeks old now, and stuff. We've been fighting thrush with nystatin, gentian violet, and diflucan, but have yet to triumph over the culpable self-rising lesser organism. Ana's also getting better at touching with her hands and grabbing things.

 

January 9, A.D. 2006:

Ana spent her 12th week in TN with the grandpeeps and such. I'll let the pictures tell the story.

 

December 30, A.D. 2005:

Ana's first Christmas was a smash hit. We hope all of you are having a very Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, a Joyous Kwanzaa, and a Spiffy New Year.

 

December 18, A.D. 2005:

So we're trying something new by putting a little video on the week 10 page. It's mostly of Ana being cute and only lasts about two minutes, so go check it out. As for news, Ana hit 8 lbs. on Monday and stayed with her first baby sitter on Friday night while Mommy and Daddy went to a movie. And no, those tears on Mommy's cheek weren't for Aslan.

 

December 11, A.D. 2005:

See pics from weeks 8 and 9 here. For about five out of the last seven nights, Ana's been sleeping "through the night." Woo hoo!

 

December 2, A.D. 2005:

Last week was pretty busy as the pics will show. Ana hit 7lbs.6oz., and met Ian, her second gentleman caller. She also had her first bottle on her first trip to TN for her first visit with some of the extended family and the great grandparents where she got her first Christmas present a little early.

 

November 20, A.D. 2005:

Ana turned 6 weeks old today. Some week 5 and 6 pics are combined here.

 

November 16, A.D. 2005:

More pics are up. Ana had her first doctor visit last week, and on Monday, she hit 7 lbs.

 

November 10, A.D. 2005:

If you're having trouble viewing Ana's week 3 and 4 album pages by getting the infamous "page not found" message, keep trying. Earthlink says that it is a problem for a small percentage of customers and that they are working on it. The pages are there. Just refresh the page or keep going back to it, and it will eventually show itself.

 

November 8, A.D. 2005:

Finally! Pics of Ana's 4th week (plus a couple of days) are viewable. It was a busy week with family visiting including Auntie Leah and Uncle Jeremy for the first time and a dedication service at church.

 

October 30, A.D. 2005:

Check out the new page, "Ana Week Three," in the photo album. Ana's big accomplishment this week: interlacing her fingers (i.e. the thumb twiddling position).

 

October 23, A.D. 2005:

The second week photo album has been updated. Some firsts for Ana this week include a bath, a concert, and going to Sunday school. A first for Daddy is that he got a fancy-shmansy digital SLR with which to play. That means many more gigs of pics are forthcoming.

 

October 19, A.D. 2005:

Some pictures have been added to the photo album titled "Ana Week Two." More to come later.

 

October 18, A.D. 2005:

Added some scanned prints to both "Ana's Birthday" and "Ana Week One" in the photo album. In other words, there are more pics to look at, so go on now. Go.

The computer died again in the night, but the surge protecting circuit on the new power supply saved it from total destruction. Pray that I can keep it puttering along until I get a new one. I'm perceiving some good lessons through this experience, and if this were a blog, I would tell you about them. Maybe I'll start one some day. Until then, you can find some good ones on the links page.

Computer's fixed. :)

 

September 21, A.D. 2005:

Our computer died Monday. Until I get it fixed, I'll update the site from work other places. I've ordered a new motherboard, and I plan to get a new power supply today. Needless to say, if the baby comes before the machine is fixed, you won't be able to get the latest news here. You'll just have to trust the ol'grapevine.
