October was a busy month, as this plethora of pictures shows. We celebrated Ana's birthday at home, Oz-style. Then Ana celebrated birthdays with two great grandmothers. We also met Myah, the kids' first first cousin, and enjoyed the Christianized and secularized festivities of the Fall season.

 

The September images are here. We started in TN with family and ran into another queen in Dollywood. Then we hosted a concert at our house to wrap it all up.

 

Last week's Jenny & Tyler house show was a success. We had about 20 big people here with an assortment of little people up stairs watching movies. Look at these videos to see some highlights from the concert.

 

Ana continues her songwriting career with the selections in this video. She also covers a couple of old stand-bys, and David provides minimalist choreography.

 

Ana likes to listen to Mommy's old tapes. She's particularly fond of this song by Carman. Watch her rock and sing along.

 

We are one week away from the Jenny & Tyler concert here at the Anderson household. If you haven't heard, we're serving up some great acoustic music from Jenny & Tyler and a little coffee right in our living room on Monday, September 28 from 7-9 pm. Check out this video to see how we're getting ready, and if you're still on the fence regarding your attendance, hop on over to our side and support these great independent artists. Remember August? These pics will help us do just that. We took pics of friends, saying "Bye" to some, and went to TN to say "Hello" to the newest member of the family, Cousin #1.

 

David can do some silly things with his spoon as is displayed in this video.

 

David constantly moves when he's not asleep, and when he awakes, he has to make up for lost time.

Ana started school in July. She does about thirty minutes a day and says she likes it better than pancakes. See her on the first day of school in our July pics along with the kids' matching pajamas and a visit from the grandfolks.

Happy Independence Day, peoples! The Zambia pics have been completely processed, and the last two albums are available for your perusal. Victoria Falls was quite voluminous this year, and the last days at the orphanage were peaceful.

 

Ana and David were busy while Mom and Dad were away. They went to Dollywood and chilled with their grandpeeps. Upon our return, we all went to Elijah's birthday party.

 

Happy Canada Day, everybody! Here are pics from our days in the village of Kabondo. You'll also see us visit Gibson's house and accompany the Global Samaritans kids on a sunset river cruise.

 

We went to Botswana to Chobe National Park a couple of weeks ago. Part of the tour was on water. Part was on land. Here are pics of the animals and the day's activities.

Keith and Erin recently returned from a trip to Africa. We'll be posting pics of the trip here over the next few days. Our first stop was London where we had a 12 hour layover. It also just happened to be the Queen's "official" birthday, and we just happened to be in the vicinity of the parade route when she passed by. Here are pics of our whirlwind bus tour of the city along with the Queen's parade.
