4 July 2009: A sever thunderstorm with intense cloud-to-ground lightning on the night of 3 July caused damage to my digital thermometer and the serial port of my PC. I have a backup thermometer and have ordered a replacement serial card for the PC. With a little luck and God willing, the station will be back up and running in a week or so. Thank you.
