If you have registered for an eCollege.com class, here is what you need to know:
1. You must contact your instructor ASAP so you can be entered on your
instructor's course roster and registered with eCollege.com.
Your email address does not appear on the LAMC roster, so you must contact
your instructor with this information. Your instructor must have your
email address before you can be registered with eCollege.com.
2. Plan for the $30.10 technology charge that will be billed to you directly from eCollege. eCollege.com is the technology provider for your course. This payment is due by the end of week 2 of the course. If it is not paid, your access to your course will be blocked. (This charge helps to pay for the 24-hour help desk provided by eCollege, the secure web site and other technology benefits you will find in your course.)
3. The week before your course opens (if you have contacted your instructor) you will be assigned a login and password so that you can access your course.
The course web site is
http://lamconline.org. You cannot access the course without a password and login. Failure
to contact your teacher will result in a late start and/or exclusion from the
course.
4. Before week 2 of the semester, pay your eCollge.com charges directly to eCollege by credit card or electronic funds transfer from
your bank account to avoid having your access to your course blocked.
Instructions on how to do this are provided in the welcome email sent to you
when you are registered with the eCollege.com system.
5. Enjoy your course.
