Government of Tibet In Exile

This site is maintained and updated by The Office of Tibet, the official agency of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in London.

The Dalai Lama fled Tibet after The Chinese Communists suppressed an uprising in 1959.

He now resides in India, has won the Nobel Peace Prize, and is, along with the Pope, the most widely recognized religious leader in the world today.
