But before late, everyone (including Par) has come there to settle for the night. Geint: -_- GMRune: This night is the most restful one you have known for a long time. And you actually have an opportunity to sleep in this morning. GMRune: All hp/mp has been restored. Valina feels refreshed... and wakes a bit earlier than everyone. Geint wakes up.... Geint: -_O The bush pants happily. Geint: ..What's that....? ..Is the bush here?? The bush slurps Geint. Geint: Gack! Earendil is snoring loudly. Geint: Silly thing. =b Geint: I wanted to sleep more. ;b Kadan is awakened from under his shade tree by the first rays of sunlight over the mountainous horizon. The bush isn't very sympathetic. Rein searches for food. Arzel is studying his teleportation magic. Geint tries to curl back up. Kadan emits a low guttural snarl. "Blah... just five more minu... *konk* *snore*" GMRune: Rein finds Arzel's pantry. Arzel points Rein to food. Valina has left the house. Ayeye is sitting against a wall, looking depressed. Rein looks as evil as anyone's ever seen. Earendil is still snoring. The bush trundles away from Geint and rustles next to Ayeye. Tarrant thinks of his life, is this really worth it? Arzel cleans up his house and notes that he has to get the pantry restocked soon. Geint crawls under Arzel's bed's covers and goes to sleep. =b Ayeye glances at the bush, and smiles for a second. Par gets up and decides to return the unused silver to the party after his shopping trip. Rein briefly considers going back to bed, but decides to help Arzel clean up. Arzel thanks Rein. The bush yips a little bit and looks up hopefully at Ayeye. Ayeye picks up the bush. The bush wriggles eagerly. Arzel finishes cleaning and goes back to studying. Par: Since most of us are up, maybe we should wake up Earendil now. Geint rests undisturbed...but now that everyone's up and about has trouble. Earendil: . . . snore . . . Arzel wanders over and prods Ear. Par smiles faintly. Earendil, the snoring Dragonmaster... Arzel: Hmmm...I think we need to resort to the bucket of water method. Earendil is startled awake and reflexively grabs his sword and brings it up to Arzel's head. Par: Maybe not... Arzel reacts and pushes the sword away with his claws. Earendil blinks his eyes a few times. "Oh, sorry Arzel." Geint peers out of the bed. Geint: O_o Arzel: Watch it there Dragonboy. Earendil: Don't do that! If you want to wake me up, do it from far away. Par: Shall we launch the bush on to you next time instead? Arzel: I'm sorry, I lost my 12 foot pole. Arzel: I'll use water next time. Earendil gives Par the "that isn't funny" look. Par shrugs with an innocent smile. Arzel: Or maybe a teleportation spell to Vane's water reservoir next time Geint gets up and streches with an arch of her back. "*Yawn* So what now?" Arzel: I dunno...what are we doing now? Earendil suddenly realizes that he's only dressed in his breeches and hides under the sheets. "Get out! Let me get dressed!" Par: I presume we'll try going to Caldor Isle and... Oh, sorry, Ear. Tarrant: Ahhh.. the bashful Dragonmaster. Arzel laughs and wanders away from Ear. Par heads out of the room. Geint flies out. Geint sits on Arzel again... looking sleepy. Earendil puts on his clothes and armor. Valina comes wandering in... this time with a change in clothing. She is now wearing a nice little short skirt. Earendil comes out of the room. "Are we done having fun at my expense now?" Valina looks very pretty. Par: Quite, I think. Arzel yawns in Ear's general direction. Earendil: Good. Valina: ... Par: So where have you been, Valina? Valina: Out and about... Earendil looks at Valina apprehensively, "Oh, uh . . . good morning Val. That's a nice skirt you have on." Valina: I met a nice old seamstress! She made me this new dress for a yummy root omelet! Geint: ...She did? =b Arzel: Hmm... will you excuse me for about 10 minutes. I'm going to go over to my Father's and see if I can arrange for the pantry to be restocked. Valina: Well... her taste buds were still active! Rein whispers to Tarrant, "Good lord... we'd better help that poor woman." Earendil: . o O (Don't oogle, Ear, or you'll blow all chances with her.) Geint blink blinks sleepily, looking very out of it. Arzel wanders out of his house and down the street. Arzel runs back into the room. Arzel: Damn! Tarrant! Your house is on fire!! Par goes to the door and takes a look out. Arzel runs back out and back down the street. Earendil's ears perk up. "What?" Tarrant whispers to Arzel, "Want to see my latest advance in food?" Tarrant: WHAT? Geint: ..Huh...? Earendil takes a look out the window. Geint: ..This isn't very good..... Earendil: Water magic anybody? Tarrant: Um...Par a little help if ya would... Hail would be nice I guess... GMRune: Tarrant's house is indeed on fire and looks beyond saving at this point. If you only knew a few minutes earlier... Par nods emphatically to Tarrant and runs over to Tarrant's house. He calls down slivers of ice to dowse the flames. Rein stands before the blaze, shielding his face from the heat with his arm. Tarrant: Hey Valina did you set my house on fire? Ayeye pats the bush lightly on the...anoo...top(?) The bush rustles uneasily. Par: Hey, guys! You'd better get over here! Arzel is already there :P Earendil rushes over to the house. Tarrant runs downtroddenly to his house. Arzel continues on past the burning house and towards the outside of town. Par is getting the fire under control, but it looks like Tarrant's not going to have much of his house left. Valina: Hey... when I was out this morning, there seemed to be a little party going on out there. Arzel: Everyone! Follow me! I think I know who did this. Arzel continues to run after the figure. Par waits until the fire is out before turning to Arzel. The figure stops running, turns around to look at the house and instead disappears. Rein follows Arz, though he doesn't know where Arzel's going. Valina: There was a man in black preforming parlor tricks... Ayeye wanders out of Arzel's house carrying the bush. Arzel: Damn it! Earendil: Where did he go? Valina: And... well, there he is I think. Arzel: He knows teleportation magic... which means he's most likely a warlock Arzel: He was the person I saw dancing around outside Tar's house while it was burning. Geint follows? Or is she sitting on someone...Whatever the case, she's with people! =b Tarrant runs towards the shadowy figure. A block-robed figure suddenly appears atop what remains of Tarrant's chimney. "Oh Taaaaar-RANT... Taaaaaaar-RANT!" he calls. Kadan jerks around. Ayeye looks wide-eyed at the cinders that are all that remains of Tarrant's home. "What happened?" Valina: ... what the? Tarrant stops running and turns around. Figure: Ah, you're Corwin's whelp, aren't you, Tarrant. Tarrant: What's it to you! Arzel: *quieter* Damn there's not enough room on that chimney for me to teleport to him. The figure laughes. "What? Don't you remember me? Your grandfather and I had a little spat a while back and I need to collect; again." Figure: If you don't remember my name, you must at least remember that incident. Tarrant: (A fiery anger escalates inside of Tarrant, but he remains calm.) Tarrant: I remember you, how could I forget... Your foul stench graces my nostrils from this distance. Figure: Your grandfather took something from me, something that I didn't realize was gone for such a very long time. But you, you must have it. And I need it back. The figure nods grimly. "More than my stench will assail you before long." Arzel wanders over to Tarrant "Uhh Tar... who is this?" Valina: ... Tarrant: I also require something from you, your heart on a platter. The figure chuckles. Earendil is taken back. "I never knew Tarrant had it in him." Kadan: Heart on a...? Is that some sort of chef joke? Figure: You possess your grandfather's star magic. He took from me the potential for a very special star magic spell. Surely you now carry that potential and knowledge with you. Rein: (to the party) What kind of a monster is this, to attack a man's home? Valina: Must be a joke... Tarrant: I command much more than the stars. Figure: Heh. Perhaps I should like to see that. But I need the essence of that spell back. Your grandfather had no business taking it from me! Figure: If you'll just hand it over, I won't try incerating the rest of this town. Valina steps back, and steps on Earendil's toe. Tarrant: You seem misguided, your foolishness has blinded you. Take it back if you dare. Earendil gives a muffled, "Ouch." Rein: He can't do that. Can he? Valina: Oh... sorry hehe. Geint goes in Arzel's hood. Earendil: What fire can be stronger than the power of the Red Dragon? Geint: (w) Hi. ..And what is Earendil doing? Figure: Ha. I'll let my followers attend to that! If you survive, come to my tower east of Vane if you *really* think you can become the most powerful mage in the world. The figure raises his arms, disappearing into a vortex. "Come forth, my servants! Yegaar calls you!" Tarrant: I bet you got your tower from the back of a cereal box or something. GMRune: In his pace, six robed figures appear. They resemble warlocks, but lack the snake and dagger symbol that would typically be on their armor. GMRune: --------round 1------- Valina: ...tower east of Vane? Valina: Oh great... GMRune: target: 3 Warlock Sentinels in front, 3 Warlock Rangers in back Earendil withdraws his sword. "Here we go again." Rein knew he should have brought his staff. Rein glances around for a chair. GMRune: Kadan casts Surround! Ayeye, Kadan, Earendil, Geint, and Par appear behind the rangers! Valina: ... If they mess up my new outfit, I am not going to be happy... GMRune: Ayeye attacks Ranger #1! GMRune: attack 1: *critical* 65 damage GMRune: attack 2: *critical* 63 damage GMRune: Kadan attacks Ranger #1! GMRune: attack 1: miss GMRune: attack 2: 190 damage GMRune: Ranger #1 dies! Kadan grunts in satisfaction as the heavy cleaving blade makes the ranger all squishy and puddle-like. GMRune: Earendil casts Star Shield on himself! He cannot be affected by enemy magic! GMRune: Valina uses Blade Anger! She swings her sword in rapid arcs, sending waves of energy against the warlocks! GMRune: 60 damage to all sentinels! 75 damage to all rangers! Valina: HA! Take that! GMRune: Geint uses Wolf Strike against Sentinel #2! She cleaves a great tear down his front! GMRune: 285 damage! Geint: Yaaa! =D GMRune: Rein grabs a chair from Tarrant's charred house and chucks it at the warlock sentinels in the front row! GMRune: The chair beans Sentinel #1 on the side of the head! 2 damage! Tarrant: Hey that was my favorite rocking chair. GMRune: Sentinel #1 casts Shadow Gate! Waves of darkness roll over the party! Rein: Chair in the face. Ayeye twirls her spear while waiting for a new opening to attack. GMRune: Ayeye takes 11 damage! Kadan is aligned with darkness and takes 1 damage! Earendil is protected by his shield! Valina is strong against darkness and takes 39 damage! Rein is strong against darkness and takes 31 damage! Geint takes 83 damage! Arzel takes 11 damage! Par takes 1 damage! Tarrant takes 1 damage! Arzel: My... that hurt. Earendil gives a little chuckle as the darkness bounces off his shield. Geint oofs. Tarrant: I know what you mean Arzel. Arzel chuckles at insane Mend boy. Rein's pulse bracer flashes briefly, and the darkness melts around Rein. GMRune: Sentinel #2 casts Shadow Gate! Arzel: Oh no... not again. GMRune: Ayeye takes 11 damage. Kadan is aligned and takes 1 damage. Earendil is protected. Valina is strong agaisnt darkness and takes 35 damage. Rein is strong against darkness and takes 37 damage. Geint takes 85 damage. Arzel takes 9 damage. Par takes 1 damage. Tarrant takes 1 damage. Arzel: Da pain boss! Da pain. GMRune: Sentinel #3 casts Quicken! Sentinel #3's reaction is boosted by 73! Earendil: Valina! Earendil rushes over to Val's unconscious form. GMRune: Ranger #3 uses Wide Slash on the back row! GMRune: Rein is hit for 55 damage! Arzel is hit for 47 damage! Par is hit for 93 damage! Tarrant is hit for 1 damage! Earendil gives the Rangers a cold stare. GMRune: Par casts Ice Slivers on the back row! GMRune: 193 damage! GMRune: All rangers die! GMRune: attack 1: *critical* 40 damage Ayeye uses Zara's Spear to launch herself into the air, towards the first Warlock Sentinel. GMRune: attack 2: *critical* 43 damage Valina: Agne..mark don't ...go. GMRune: Sentinel #3 uses Shadow Gate! Earendil 's form seems to seethe with anger and he whispers, "You hurt her . . ." Geint: *Plop* GMRune: Kadan attacks Sentinel #1! GMRune: attack 1: miss GMRune: attack 2: miss Earendil seems to glow red as the anger inside him increases. GMRune: Earendil raises a hand to the sky, calling on the power of the unconscious red dragon to him. An ethereal shape of Geint's full-size appears behind the party for a split second before a barrage of flaming meteors roars down from the sky! Rein: Oooh... pretty.... Earendil: Feel this warlocks! GMRune: 162 damage to sentinels! Sentinel #1 perishes amid the flames! Valina: Argh... Valina: Who...s blood there now? GMRune: Rein chucks a brick at Sentinel #3! GMRune: The warlock easily dodges. GMRune: Arzel hurls a bolt of flame at Sentinel #3! GMRune: 94 damage! GMRune: Sentinel #3 dies! GMRune: ------victory!----- Tarrant: Next time we go to Rein's house... I am going to throw his stuff at enemies. Geint unconsciously cheers. Arzel: Yay I killed it. :P GMRune: The party earns 483 XP, 378 MEXP, and 126 S. Earendil kneels down beside Val. GMRune: Geint and Valina wake up with 1 hp. Geint opens one eye. -_O Arzel: wb Geint. Geint: =) Arzel picks Geint up. Ayeye plants the spear into the ground. "What now?" Earendil helps Valina up. Geint purrs. Arzel heals Geint. Valina: Ouch... not more pain. GMRune: Geint gains 108 hp. Earendil calls for Rein to come over by Val. Geint: =) Thinks, Arz! Arzel: Hmm... I'm no good at healing. Valina: ... What happened? Why is there blood all over? Valina blinks... Rein casts a heal aura over the party. Valina begins to feel better... Earendil: Everything's fine, we got rid of the warlocks. Valina: ... GMRune: Ayeye gains 33 hp and is at full. Kadan gains 60 hp and is at full. Valina gains 88 hp. Rein gains 88 hp. Geint gains 88 hp. Arzel gains 81 hp and is at full. Par gains 88 hp. Tarrant gains 4 hp and is at full. Ayeye frowns. "I suppose you're going to want to go meet this guy..." Valina: To the tower to east? Rein: Anyone need a little more? Valina: I still hurt. Arzel is fine. :P Valina is in pain... Ayeye sighs and flops down against a nearby tree. Arzel is still holding Geint. :) GMRune: Tarrant's house is in shambles now. There is very little left of it except for the foundations. Most of the townspeople have vanished from the streets nearby. Tarrant: Look at my poor house.. Arzel: I'm sorry Tar... Earendil puts his hand on Tar's shoulder. "I'm really sorry Tarrant." Arzel: Well... I still have to arrange for my house to be restocked...or we'll have to buy food next time. Geint looks forlorn at Tarrant. " ...Hmm. Maybe we'll save some of the money we get and make a 'Tarrant's house' fund." Valina feels bad... but at least her new dress is in good shape :P Arzel wanders off a few houses down to his father's house... and let's Geint go if she wants to. Kadan stands somewhat distantly, looking away, never really cherishing the concept of a home. Geint stays with Arzel. GMRune: Rein casts Heal Litany on Valina. She gains 93 hp! Valina: Thanks, Rein... Tarrant: I don't really need a house now anyway.. Arzel arranges with his father to get his house restocked, then walks back to the group. Par rubs the side of his head. "It seems like everyone makes enemies these days..." Earendil: Indeed . . . Arzel: Well... at least everyone that decided to join our little party. :) Kadan: The world is full of people, Par... they're all just enemies you haven't met yet. Valina: We all have enemies. Par tosses a light smirk in Kadan's direction. "Only if you look at them that way." Ayeye: We do? Arzel: Well. There's a pessimistic view from Kadan like always. Earendil: I can't believe that you don't have somebody after you, Ayeye. Ayeye: I don't know... Valina: I wish banshee wasn't after me... Arzel: Well, I guess I shouldn't talk... I really don't know many people... the few here, and you guys... and the people we've met on the way. Geint: ..You know me alright. =b Par turns around at looks thoughtfully back at the sodden ruins of Tarrant's house. Arzel: So... what are we doing now? Or are we just going to sit around and watch Tar's house cinder? Valina: ...Tarrant, I'm sorry about this. Par: I was just wondering... Geint: ...So should we do what I said? Or does someone have a better idea about Tarrant's house? Par: I don't mind setting aside some silver for him, Geint. But we probably don't hae the time to spend rebuilding his house right now. Par: After all this is over, maybe. Geint: ...I didn't mean that. =\ Valina looks at the remains of the house... and begins to cry Par: Oh! Sorry... Valina: ...home sweet home. Valina: ~sniff~ Earendil puts his hands on Val's shoulders. Valina: At least we all made it out safely... Rein shakes his head at yet more destruction surrounding the party. Valina remembers the recent past... Valina: Earendil... Earendil: Yes? Ayeye sits against a tree, looking at the remains of Tarrant's house, and frowning. "Home..." Geint crawls onto Arzel's shoulder and into his hood. Valina: Last time I saw a burning house... I'm pretty sure ~sniff~ my family was in there...~sniff~ Arzel: Hello, Geint. :) Geint: Hi. =) Valina: ... and that is why I hate Banshee... The bush gives Ayeye a reassuring if syrupy slurp on the cheek. Valina: I don't want to know how much more of the warlock abuse I can take... Earendil gives Val a hug. "That's horrible, I'm so sorry." Rein looks away uncomfortably. Valina: Thanks... Valina: ~sigh~ Earendil looks Valina in the eyes. "I will help you get your revenge on Banshee. They took Elanor away from me and I intend to get her back." Par: So, Tarrant, do you intend to chase after this Yegaar person? Arzel stands with his hood shadowing his face. Rein: Master Mendren trained his acolytes to be strong. It's necessary if we're to help people. But all this misfortune is making me... well... tired. Valina: ...Earendil, I'm scared of them, Gausuton will stop at nothing to get me as well, I know that. Tarrant: Definitely... Rein sits down and pops a blade of grass in his mouth. Earendil: Don't be scared, you'll have the Dragonmaster to protect you. Ayeye continues staring at the charred house, lost in her own thoughts. Par: We should be going soon then. I don't think we should detour from going to Caldor any longer than necessary. Earendil's going to need those White Dragon Wings. Valina: ...What? Valina: Now... Valina: I don't know if I want to go back! Earendil: I know it'll be hard for you Valina, but we need the power of the White Dragon. Par looks at Valina. "We're not going just yet. It'll likely still be a couple weeks off as of yet, but we'll have to go eventually. Earendil needs the white dragon's help." Geint perks up and looks outside Arzel's hood. Kadan: Yes, we have no time to waste. Valina: It has taken me too long to try and forget what happened... and now I know I can't forget! Geint: We're gonna see Quark next? =) Valina: I don't know... Arzel: We need to go... I can't stand being in this town any longer... it brings back memories of my childhood... and Garreth. Geint: =( Tarrant: If you guys want to, go to Caldor and I'll go get Yegaar. Geint rubs her furry face against Arzel's cheek. Earendil: Valina, I've learned that sometimes its better to face that which torments you, because if you don't, it will come back and haunt you like it did to me. Arzel smiles. "Thanks, Geint." Valina: ... Valina: It... is too hard... Par: Are you sure you wouldn't want our help, Tarrant? I've heard of Yegaar before. He's a renegade warlock, no longer affiliated with the Empire. Such a man would be dangerous to deal with. Earendil: Yes . . . I know, but now you have friends to help you through it. Rein: If we don't deal with Yegaar, can he really carry out his threats? Valina: ... Really... Tarrant: I think it would be best for me to go alone, the rest of you are not resilant enough to deal with him. Par: Only House Erde rules here now. They are a weak house, nothing like Magus was. I think Yegaar could possibly succeed. Valina: ~sigh~ I don't know what happened... I was told to run, I ran, I heared Banshee blast away everything I knew... Earendil spits in the ground. "Banshee has no honor. At least when the warlocks attacked Shelladon, they did it openly." Rein: At any rate, might we be able to come up with something better than going after him on his own turf? Par shrugs. "Well, if we're really daring we could wait until he actually attacks Vane before stopping him." Arzel: Vane holds many bad memories for me, but it also holds some good ones... would you allow me to assist you Tarrant? I wish not for Vane to be destroyed. Earendil: You must allow me to also assist you. It would do me a great dishonor to let you go off alone. Kadan: We cannot go traipsing around and ending every minor injustice we encounter. We have a responsibility to seek out the core of the world's troubles. Valina: ... Valina: Let's go then... to Caldor. I need to see what happened. Par: I shall go with whichever group needs me most. Earendil: It's up to you Tarrant. If you wish to go after Yegaar, I will go with you. If not, then I will go to Caldor. Tarrant: Earendil that is very generous but not nessassary. Tarrant begins to walk towards the tower east of Vane. Valina: I will... face my pain. Arzel leaves with Tarrant. Valina: Caldor... Rein: Isn't there some way for us to play Yegaar and House Erde against each other? Walking into that tower seems like a remarkably BAD idea, for any of us... Earendil feels torn. Ayeye gets up. "Tarrant! I'm going with you! I can find more answers with the warlocks than without!" Ayeye runs after Tarrant. Arzel: Earendil, go with Valina, your first mission is to find the dragon armor Valina turns west toward Caldor. Par shrugs. "Personally I think Tarrant would beat what soldiers Erde has here. Most of their forces should still be on Caldor." Valina: ...What forces on Caldor? Whose? Tarrant slightly smiles as footsteps are heard behind him. Geint: ..Uhh..where'm I? Kadan: If our strategy is centered around empowering Earendil, we have no choice but to get him to Caldor Isle right away. Par: I suppose I'll go with those to Caldor. Without Arzel and Tarrant you guys may need a mage. Valina: Thanks, Par... Geint: I wanna see Quark... but I also want to help out! Earendil: Thank you, Par. Par nods to Valina. Kadan approaches Ayeye. "We... I mean... are you sure you want to deal with this crazy warlock?" Par: You're welcome, Earendil. Rein looks about him in frustration. "I have a bad feeling about this..." Arzel: Rein, you go to Caldor, they'll need someone to heal. Earendil: Rein, you should probably go with the others. I should be able to handle the healing. Ayeye continues after Tarrant. "I don't know, but I do know that my answers seem to lie with the warlocks, not the dragons." Geint hmms. "Oh well......bye, Arzel! I'm going with Earendil. I want to see Quark. ^_^" Geint flies over to the Caldor group. Arzel: Me and Tarrant are both acomplished healers... I think Rein should go with you Ear. Kadan: Is it... that spear you carry around? Is that why you are so determined? Arzel: Bye Geint. Tarrant: Your path and mine are intertwined no doubt. Earendil: Please Arzel, I already feel guilty enough not going with you and Tarrant. Arzel: We'll be fine Earendil... we're fighting for our hometown. Ayeye: The spear was a gift, I was told that the warlocks, a warlock, held the answers, held my past, but I'm always one step behind... Valina: And this was a gift too. Valina holds her rapier. Rein watches for Kadan's decision. Valina: And that is why I must go to Caldor. Earendil: Very well then. I hope that you have more luck than I did protecting Shelladon. Kadan looks down at the ground. Arzel: I will not fail my town, or I will die trying to protect it. Kadan puts a hand on Ayeye's shoulder. "Well, if you think it is what you must do. I don't feel like I need... like I need to be near you always, at least not in a protective capacity, but I know that I would rather my blade assist the destruction of the empire as opposed to one renegade warlock." Kadan: Ayeye... we'll all come back as soon as we found what we're looking for. Now you take care of yourself, do you understand me? Arzel teleports becide Tar. Valina: ... Earendil: We will come back to help you as soon as I get the White Dragon Wings. Ayeye halts and turns to Kadan, a distraught expression covering her face. "You're leaving? Again? I...I don't know..." Arzel: Goodbye my friends, Althena be with you. Valina: Good luck! Par: Althena will smile on us. We'll see each other soon. Arzel nods. Kadan: Ayeye, we have more important things involved here. Now if you want to... leave this quest for a short time to explore your demons, I can't ask you to stop, but I know what my responsibility is here. Please... I'll be back shortly. Valina begins to travel towards Caldor... Earendil waits for Kadan. Tarrant hands glow as a vine comes out of the ground to serve as a walking stick. Arzel stands with Tar. Rein: I think I'd better go to the tower. I have a feeling misfortune waits there, and I must do what I can to help. Arzel: You're coming with us Rein? Ayeye stares at Kadan. "I'm not sure, you're the only thing I've ever been able to rely on... I...I..." Valina waits for Earendil. Rein looks at the group, then nods. Ayeye lowers her head. "I'll miss you..." Kadan: Ayeye... if there's one thing that Kate taught me in this world, it's that you can only rely on yourself. Trust in yourself, and we'll both be stronger when we meet again. Kadan holds the end of Ayeye's lance, studying the design. "I hope you... find what you're looking for." Kadan turns around. Tarrant: Hey don't worry... We can not possible loose... Earendil walks up to Kadan and whispers to him, "It is not wise to hide one's feelings behind fancy words." Ayeye takes one last look at Kadan's retreating form, and turns back toward Tarrant, trying her best to keep a strong appearance. Earendil walks away toward Valina. Par follows after Earendil and Valina after giving the other group a farewell wave. Kadan turns to Earendil, then turns back. Arzel: It'll be okay Ayeye, don't worry. Geint flaps along. Earendil takes Valina's hand. Valina shudders... Rein looks off to the east, warily. Kadan: She'll be ok, won't she? I mean, everyone knows Ayeye can take care of herself, right?
