GMRune: Par: We almost had it...! Arzel shakes his head trying to recover himself Geint: Yea, I thought it was ours fer sure! *pant* *pant* Geint: Or yours. I don't have anything to do with it. Earendil: Our quest just took a big turn for the worse Arzel: yup GMRune: Kadan tells his "bunny" not to talk so much. Ayeye: We must get it back, it has to hold the answers. GMRune: Par: Great, and we've still got to find out way out of this place. Tarrant: How are we going to get out? Ayeye: Does anyone know that handy teleportation trick? Arzel: umm, nope GMRune: Par shakes his head. Earendil: Too bad there aren't any doors marked EXIT Geint: Don't look at me. These wings only carry ME. GMRune: Par: Maybe there's another passage back where the bronze dogs were. Arzel looks along the wall for a secret passage. Earendil: It's worth a gander. --> Arzel One of the bricks seems more like clay than stone. Arzel looks at a weird block he has found. Arzel: Hey, everyone. GMRune: Par turns his head towards Arzel. Earendil: What is it? Arzel: This block is like clay Arzel: Not stone Geint: Hmmm..? Geint: *sarcasticaly* It must be made of cheese! Ayeye: What? Arzel tries to move it around. GMRune: The block wiggles out of its place and you see blackness behind it. Arzel: Hummm Arzel: I'm not sticking my hand in. GMRune: There appears to be a room or passageway beyond it. Ayeye: A secret passage, again. Geint looks in. Earendil: Arzel, you found it so you get the honor of going first. GMRune: Its dark. You can't see anything through it. Ayeye: Uh, could someone light it up? Geint: Uhhh...ehe... yea. Honor. Geint grins. Arzel: I'm not a fighter! I'm not taking the front! Geint: I could...he he.. GMRune: Par: I don't think we can fit through that hole. Maybe someone could break open the rest of the wall... Tarrant: Kadan you can have the honors of cracking through. Arzel looks to Kadan and the other fighters. GMRune: Kadan glares at Tarrant and inspects the wall. Arzel walks over to Tarrant. Geint lands on Earendil. GMRune: Kadan: Hmph. Looks like solid stone to me. I think I'll just dull my axe trying to get through that thing. Arzel: Stick your hands in and pull the bricks out! Tarrant: Charge through it like a wild bull! Earendil: Too bad no one here knows earth magic. GMRune: Par nods his head gravely. GMRune: Kadan tries prying the bricks out, but fails miserably. Arzel looks to Geint. GMRune: Kadan: Dammit! They won't move! Geint: wha? Arzel: Do you think you can fit through and find a way for the rest of us to get through? Arzel: Like a switch? GMRune: The hole is big enough for Geint to go through. Earendil: Fry 'em Arzel: You can kill them you can use magic to! Ayeye: Find the switch faster. Arzel: Or come back through. Geint creeps down, after flying off of Earendil. GMRune: Kadan tests the weight of the alter and lifts it. GMRune: There is nothing under it but stone floor though. GMRune: Kadan grunts and sets the alter down off to the side. Earendil: Perhaps if we move all of them? Ayeye: Well...there are three more alters... Arzel asks Kadan to put the alter on the stone slab with the button on it. Ayeye looks to Kadan. GMRune: Par nods and tries shoving one (unsuccesfully) on his own. Geint flies over to inspect. GMRune: Kadan grumbles something about magic-users and demons but dumps the alter on the slab. Earendil goes over to one of them and moves it just barely onto the slab. Geint: .... GMRune: A tunnel opens in the ceiling above the slab. Arzel sighs Earendil: ..... .... Geint notices Rein after sticking her tounge out. Geint: Hi, Rein. Rein looks up in surprise. His face brightens as he recognizes the party. GMRune: Par: The same warlock that took the tome we needed from us. Rein shakes his head. Geint: :P Rein: It sounds like we'd better find that warlock. GMRune: Par: And what's worse is, that warlock is from House Banshee! Getting the tome and Valina back for him is not going to be an easy task! Ayeye: I agree, but there seems to be one problem...Remember our last encounter with a warlock? Geint: But we gotta!! GMRune: Kadan grimaces at the reminder. Rein remembers. :( Geint: Right, Earendil? Earendil: But how do we fight him, we couldn't even take out those two weak warlocks in the sewer Ayeye: Maybe, we can outsmart him. Geint: Because we're gonna save Valina and that book thingy!! Arzel mumbles something again. GMRune: Par looks curiously at Arzel. Arzel smiles at Par. GMRune: Par: Have you thought of something? Arzel: Not at the moment. Tarrant: hmm.. GMRune: Par: Hmm... If you guys are serious about going after Valina, House Banshee rules over the area near the Nanza border. GMRune: Par: It's quite a walk though... Arzel: Ya, I know, but, we might stop by Vane. Ayeye: We really need to find someone who can do that teleport trick. Geint: *FLLOOOOPPHH* GMRune: Kadan munches on his fish, trying to ignore the fact his companions are talking about a walking bush. Rein wonders what Vane will look like. Ayeye washes off the bush saliva. GMRune: The ambush catches the pear neatly in its mouth and wolfs it down. The pear vanishes beneath a bunch of leaves. GMRune: One of the locals looks inquiringly at Ayeye's bush. Ayeye: Errr...Is it o-kay to bring a bush in here? Tarrant waves to the owner of the establishment. GMRune: The bush chitters anxiously. GMRune: Owner: Hey, Tarrant! Nice to see you back here! Ayeye: It could be useful for cleaning the tables. Geint: If it didn't sap it up. Tarrant: Great to be back! Mind if I go into the kitchen and whip up some meals for my friends? GMRune: Owner: Certainly not. Go right ahead! Geint flies around in circles energeticaly. Geint: Yippie!! Tarrant walks over to the party. "What can I get for all you?" GMRune: The tavern owner peers up at the flying kitty and then down at the feisty little bush. GMRune: Owner: Weird friends you got here, Tarrant. Earendil: Geint, come down here. Geint nods, and lands on Earendil's shoulder. Tarrant: Well have you decided yet? GMRune: The owner scrathes his head absent-mindedly and then heads back to the bar. GMRune: Par: Do you think I could have some roast rabbit? Ayeye: What is served here? Tarrant: I can practically make anything... You name it I serve it. GMRune: Kadan doesn't trust anything Tarrant would cook. Ayeye: Is this a challange? Geint: uhh.... Geint: I'd......like...... Geint: how about some salmon!! =) GMRune: Par wants some wine to go with his rabbit too. :) Tarrant: Hmm... Rabbit is my specialty Tarrant: Hey Cid (owner) did they deliver the salmon shipment today? Ayeye: I want some chicken, and maybe some fruit for the bush. *** Signoff: Rein () GMRune: Cid: Um, yeah I think they did. GMRune: Cid: Just came in a couple hours ago in fact. Geint: Oh goodie!! Geint: Can you make me some, Tarrant!?! Earendil: How fresh are the pasta nooldes? Tarrant: Great..So we have 1 rabbit, 1 salmon, 1 chicken, some fruit, pasta, anyone else left to order? GMRune: Kadan doesn't want anything, but Arzel would like some soup. Tarrant: "Well it will be done shortly" Tarrant walks into the back room. GMRune: Par looks around and spots the two dark-robed people near the back of the dining room. Ayeye: While we are waiting, what should we call the bush? It really needs a name. Earendil: I must say during the battle with the smegs in Shelladon, I never expected to end up with you guys in a tavern in Vane Geint: We could call the bush emerald. I like names with jewels in it. *** GMRune has set the topic on channel #lunarrpg5 to Tavern in Vane - 145 S - 87 MEXP Ayeye: Humm...Ema or Emi for short... GMRune: The bush twitches eagerly in Ayeye's lap as it starts smelling the food. Ayeye: Well Earendil, stranger things have happened. Look at Kadan, he's in a tavern, sitting with a wizard. Earendil: I think we had better get some food for the bush as well or it will eat up all of ours GMRune: Par: Ayeye asked for some fruit for it. Ayeye: Does anyone know if the bush is a he or a she? GMRune: Rein: Does it even have a gender? Geint: eek. how would you check a bush??? =/ Tarrant: The door to the kitchen opens and two beautiful waitresses emerge, with a tray in each hand. Earendil: A better question would be, "How does one tell?" Ayeye: I don't know... GMRune: Par: Oh good! Food! Geint licks her chops and looks over the food. Geint waits to be served. GMRune: The waitresses help Tarrant hand out the food and then leave. GMRune: The bush snatches up an apple and gulps it down. Tarrant: Well guys, dig in! GMRune: Then it burps loudly. Earendil: Ahh fresh pasta Ayeye: Delicious! Geint smells the salmon, and with great satisfaction, eats it up. GMRune: Par digs into his rabbit and eats almost as noisily as the bush, pausing every now and then to wash his meal down with the wine. Earendil: I always thought that elves had good table manners. GMRune: Arzel sips his soup lightly. Ayeye: I heard that also. GMRune: Par: (through a half-filled mouth) I'm hungry. I've been getting tired of eating dried fruit for the past week! Tarrant walks over to Cid. "Who are those 2 guys with the robes on over there?" Geint doesn't mind eating fish. =) Geint licks her plate clean. --> Tarrant Cid whispers, "A couple of the local ruling warlocks. Don't worry about them." GMRune: The bush licks the fruit bowl "clean". *Tarrant* Have they been causing trouble? --> Tarrant Cid: No. But, you know how normal folk get from just being around them sometimes. *Tarrant* Ya.. Geint: Wow! that was great! If it was all you can eat, I'd probobly explode before I stopped! I could eat 90 plates of this! GMRune: Arzel: I told you he was the best! Geint: Did I act like I didn't believe you? ;) Ayeye: You were right. Kadan, you're really missing something here! GMRune: Par slows his eating down to a more acceptable level as he nears the end of his meal. Tarrant: Seconds for anyone? GMRune: Kadan huffs, but refuses to touch the food. Geint: oo! oo! Tarrant: I'll take that as a yes Geint. Geint: but stop me when I get to 4ths, please. ;) Ayeye: No, I'm full, but the bush still looks hungry. Earendil: What's on the dessert menu? Tarrant goes into the kitchen and comes out with a large golden salmon and a giant pineapple. Ayeye: Oh! That's right, I can't forget dessert! GMRune: Rein: Wow! That pineapple looks pretty good! Tarrant tosses the pineapple to the bush and gives the salmon to Geint GMRune: The bush reachs out for the pineapple, with it's mouth of course. GMRune: The bush munches away at the pineapple. GMRune: Rein: What? The bush gets all of it? Ayeye: Do you have chocolate? Geint: !!!!! Geint: Maybe some caramel treats for me!! I've always loved it! Tarrant: Hmm we don't have any chocolate you'll have to get that at the item store but I do have some pies. GMRune: Tarrant serves the party the desserts they request... <> GMRune: -----end session----- Tarrant trips and flings a pie at Kadan's head and gets blueberries all over him j/k GMRune: We'll pick up where we left off next week. :) GMRune: Heh heh heh...
