Lunar: Magic Empire Interlude 5 Log ============================================================ Cast of Characters: Rune as "GM/Narrator, Jael" Dyne as "Arzel" ============================================================ GMRune: -----interlude 5 begin------ GMRune: Jael has just left the party and begun to climb a small ladder up to what appears to be a loft. Arzel: Jael! Jael turns and looks down at Arzel as he's midway up the rungs. "What is it?" Arzel follows after him. Jael finishes climbing up and waits for Arzel to join him in the loft. Arzel: I was wondering if I could talk to you for a bit...I have a few, questions about magic that you may be able to help me with Jael shrugs. "I suppose, although I am no great magician by warlock standards." Arzel: Well you're all I have at my disposal now :) Jael chuckles lightly. "True enough." Jael: So how may I help you? Arzel: I've begun to study the art of teleportation magic, but I can't quite grasp some of the concepts...unfortunatly all I have to learn from is this book *pulls it out of his bag* Arzel shows Jael the book. Jael takes the book and thumbs through its pages. "Hmm... rather complicated stuff. I'm surprised you're trying to learn it." Jael: But I'm afraid I can't help you beyond the more principle levels. I haven't mastered the subject myself either. Arzel: Well, I'm determined...and the man who gave me the book said I probobly would be able to learn it, even if it will take a while. Jael nods. "From what I can tell, this book is very well written. If I had the time I probably could learn as well. But then my duties involve mounted patrol and man hunts. So I'd have little enough use out of it." Arzel: I've understood some of the book while other parts just baffle me, do you know any...tricks that may help. Jael: I'll see what I can do. What parts are you having trouble with? Arzel flips through the book and points out some of the concepts that are annoying. Jael glances over them. "Hmm... Heh, it's been a while since I've had to deal with this sort of thing. But I think I can try explaining some of it. Pinpointing the destination has always been an easy concept for me." Jael: If you don't mind loosing a little sleep, I think I'll be able to straighten out a few things before we enter the castle tomorrow morning. Arzel: Shure Jael...I can live without some sleep for now. GMRune: Jael nods. "All right then. If you'd like a seat at my desk we can begin." GMRune: ------end interlude 5------
