Lunar: Magic Empire Interlude 11 Log ============================================================ Cast of Characters: Rune as "GM/Narrator, Clerk, Clerk2, Clerk3, and Quark" Mia Ausa as "Geint" ============================================================ GMRune: -------game on-------- GMRune: You emerge from Quark's teleportation magic just outside of Eso village. On the nearby hillside you can see the collection of manors that belong to House Erde. You can just barely make out the manor in which you fought Garreth. Geint looks around the town... trying to regather herself. GMRune: The salty breeze of the sea wafts in every now and then and in the distance you can hear the ocean. People are bustling about the small town, going about their business. GMRune: You vaguely remember the direction the weapon, armor, and item shops were in. Geint shakes it off. Geint attempts to go to the armor store as best as she can remember the way. GMRune: You also can see a clothing store near the market square. Geint stops. Geint looks at her outfit. Geint decides she doesn't want to wear this under armor. ^^; Geint goes into the clothing store. GMRune: You're greeted at the door by a boisterous clerk. Clerk: Hi! :D How are you doing today? What can I help you with! Geint uhms. "Y... yes." Geint is still not used to her voice and stuff. The clerk looks Geint up and down (it's a woman BTW). "So what kind of thing are ya looking for?" Geint: I'm honestly not really sure. ^^; Clerk: Well... uh... are you looking for an outfit for a special occasion? Geint: Uhm..... *Thinks about the group and what they wear and stuff.* Geint: ..I want a skirt. ^_^ Geint: A.... pink skirt! Clerk: To match your hair? Geint ehs and then realises. "Oh! heh. I guess so. ^^; I like that color." The clerk begins to dig through the clothing racks behind the counter. "Sure thing! Anything else you'd like? Perhaps a blouse to go with it?" Geint: Uhm, Okay! o O (Gee, I wish Valina were here! She seems to know about clothes. ^^;) The clerk meanwhile whips out a frilly pink skirt. "Here! Look at this and see if you like it while I go find you a blouse. Oh, any particular color or fashion?" Geint: I kind of want something that looks cute but that I could fight in..... *Thinks about that* ..as odd as that sounds The clerk takes on a perplexed look, but shrugs it off and continues digging through stuff. The clerk returns in a moment with a white blouse with pink ribbons on the front. "How's this? I think it's in your size." Geint hmms. Geint: O_o That may be a bit too much. Geint: Maybey you could just get me some plain old pink sleveless shirt. *Points* Got anything in that same color? The clerk rubs her chin. "Hmm... I might. Lemme check." She runs off again. The clerk reappears suddenly with a cutoff pink shirt. The holes where the sleeves normally would be are formed to make the area around the shoulders look poofy. "How's this?" Geint: That looks okay! =) Geint: I don't want to be too cute! *Cute anime face* I still hafta be a LITTLE imposing! ^_^ Clerk: Great! Anything else? =) Travelling boots maybe? Geint nods. Clerk: Pink too? Geint: Uhmm.. Geint: No.. That would be a bit too much... Geint: Maybe... maybe... Geint: hmm. Clerk: I have some tan ones, black ones... white ones too--Althena forbid you should be caught in a duststorm though while wearing them! Geint: I think I may want white boots anyways! ^_^ Clerk: You sure? There's no refund if they get dirty. Geint: I don't care really. Sure! ^_^ The clerk begins to wrap Geint's stuff up together in a bundle. "Okay! Is that is then?" Geint: umm...umm... Geint: Oo! *Thinks* can i have some gloves to go with the boots? ^_^ Clerk: Sure! White gloves, right? Geint: Yea! The clerk adds white gloves to the bundle. "Anything else?" Geint: Mmm.... Geint thinks. Geint: Maybe... one tiny last thing.... Geint thinks. puts a strand of hair behind her ear. Geint: ^_^; A hood! Yea! A cloak with a hood!! A big hood! The clerk laughes lightly at Geint's enthusiasm. "Sure! One big cloak with a hood! How's a red one? I think you've got enough pink in your outfit already. ;)" Geint nods many times. "Perfect! That's what i was thinking! Red! ^_^ Flame red!" The clerk pulls out a vibrant red cloak and set it by the rest of Geint's purchase. Perfect! Clerk: Okay! If that's all, this adds up to 50 S! Geint nods. "Okay! =)" Geint pays happily. Geint: Thank you very much. ^_^ The clerk hands Geint the bundle of clothes. "You're welcome! =) And thanks for stopping by!" Geint: ..May i change here? Clerk: Sure! The clerk directs Geint to a changing room. Geint nods. Geint walks slowly there. Geint changes. Geint comes out, trying to put on her other glove with her gloves hand and having some dificulty. Geint puts it on. Geint adjusts the cloak. Geint: Okay! Geint: Thank you again! ^_^ The clerk gushes over how *cute* Geint looks when she comes out of the changing room. Clerk: You're welcome! =) Geint: Do you have a mirror? =) The clerk points Geint over to a full length one by the changing room. Geint ohs. Geint looks at herself. Geint: That looks okay! =) *Pulls off the hood.* "Do you have anything I can put in my hair? I used to have a ribbon when.. Uhm. ^^; A while ago. Would you happen to have anything like that?" The clerk finds Geint a red ribbon. "How's this?" Geint: Hmm. =\ Geint thinks of valina. Clerk: Another color maybe? Geint: Have a pink one? ^^; A lighter pink than my hair. The clerk finds one in just the right shade. "Here. Try this." Geint: Oo! =) Geint gets a thought. "Could you get me just one more?" The clerk brings Geint a second one. Geint takes it and goes over to the mirror. Geint fiddles with her hair. Geint's attempts fail. ^^; Clerk: Um, do you need some help? Geint tries once more. Her hair ends up in her face. Geint: ...I guess so. ^^; The clerk helps Geint tie her hair up in a pair of poofy pigtails! Geint: Thank you!! ^_^ Geint: This is perfect! Geint: =D Clerk: Not a problem. Those ribbons are another 2S, by the way. ^^ Geint: Okay. =) Geint pays the 2 silver. The clerk shows Geint to the exit of the store. Geint: Alright! =) Goodbye! I guess I'm off! Geint looks at the axe, realising that she could probobly handle a big weapon like that. O_o ..But the idea of using a similar weapon as Kadan somewhat scares her. ^^; Geint decides against it instantly. Geint glances at the other big weapon, deciding she likes it much better. =b Geint points at the dark star. "That looks okay. Do you think it would work for me? ^^;" Clerk2: For a big lady like you? Clerk 3 adds a silver shield to the silver armor on the table. Geint: And.... the helmet! Geint: And that will be all. Clerk3: Let's see... Silver Armor, Silver Shield, and Ceramic Helmet. That comes to a total of 256 S. Geint: ...Um. Okay. Geint pays. Geint equips her stuff. Geint goes outside. Geint looks around town. GMRune: You hear Quark's voice gently nudging you in your head. "Are you done with your shopping Magintna?" Geint: Eh? Geint: Quark? Quark's voice seems to smile. "Yes, it's me, Maggy." Geint talks to herself in the middle of town. Geint: Uh. GMRune: A few people regard Geint strangely, but for the most part they ignore her. Geint: I think I'm done. Quark: Good, because your friends are in danger, and I think they will need your help soon. Are you ready to return to them?" Geint meeps. "In danger? What kind of danger?" Geint: I guess I shouldn't be surprised. -_- We're always in some danger. Geint: Okay. Geint: What do i do again? Quark: Shade--Shea, I mean--says that they've entered the Spire when the undead warlock Yegaar is hiding. They're fighting their way up his testing ground as we speak. Geint: Oh! Geint: ..so..? Geint: What do I do? ^^; *Takes out the thing* Quark: Hold the bead up to the sky and think of your friends. Then it will take you to them. Geint closes her eyes tightly and holds it way over her head. GMRune: The bead dissolves in a flash of white light. When the light fades, Geint is no longer there. GMRune: ------end interlude-------
