Lunch

The vehicle on the beach is a Wildlife Base Officer's. He arrived and was dropped off by boat as we were having lunch. He told us this was a restricted area and we should leave immediately. This was relayed to all and we thought we could finish our lunch and then go. We were wrong! He returned in a few minutes and told us to,  "Leave now!" Which we did. Jim Morris just e-mailed and said, "That's the first time in my life I went to a lunch spot and was told to "Leave immediately and never come back!"
Meanwhile Jim Crownover was in the water. He was not on land. He asked,"I'm legal, aren't I? In the water here?" The Officer answered, "Yes, just don't come up on the beach.".

We never did what we had planned which was to go out the very narrow channel which appears in the vast sand flats at extreme low tide. We will go back on a weekend and use Freeman Creek Road as our access. We will plan to be there at low tide and explore the inlet river out to just before the ocean waves.
We shall return and we shall not step on land!
The Wildlife Base Officer was just doing his job and he did it well.
