Felisi

Felisi is a 52 foot ketch that was built in 1929.  She is a gorgeous wooden craft, and was formerly owned by the actor Brian Dennehy who donated her to Scouts in 1994. 

Several of the ribs are cracked.  There is currently enough damage to prevent us from sailing her.  As part of the fundraiser at the Wooden Boat Festival, people can help us by buying a rib for the scouts.  The preliminary price for one rib is $200 (tax deductible).  When the rib they bought is placed in Felisi, the name of the company or individual who bought it will be placed on the rib and will become a permanent part of our ship.

We have hand built several kayaks which we use on our trip down the Colorado River.  They are two-man fiberglass kayaks with wooden frames.  Anyone who is interested in acquiring the blueprints for these boats can contact us at (619) 223-2828.
