Advisors

Charles Rogers (Charlie) is our Skipper. He owns and operates a sail making shop in on Shelter Island. The loft is our base of operations.

Astrid Rogers She is Charlie's wife, and helps us with a lot of our planning.

Olivia Rogers She is Charlie's daughter and quite a gal.

Charles Rogers (Charles) Mr. Chef Boyardee himself. He is Charlie's son and extremely entertaining on our trips.

Peggy Erikson She is Charlie's sister-in-law and our own personal shutterbug. *TWHIAJ*

Marye Osborn She was at one time the Boatswain of this Ship, involved in three other explorer posts, as well as the EOA (Explorer Officer Association) and girl scouts. Her nick-name is Buffy.

Kathleen Sweet She was also at one point the Boatswain of Ship 294. She is has been in the post for years and was president of both Aviation Explorer Post 1929 and the EOA. *TWHIAJ* Her nick-name is Medicine Woman

Stelena Siniavsky She was the Boatswain mate (vice-president). She has been in the post for several years, and was involved with Aviation Post 1011 as well as Sea World Post 2228. She became an RN while attending Seattle University and remains forever a member of our Ship. Her nick-name is Axe.

Gerrit Ward Is a former advisor, but is featured in more than one of the pics. He was originally a youth in this post.

Arthur Brown He is an Eagle Scout, was a member of the SDSU Rowing Team, and on Monday, March 14th he received notice that he passed the test for becoming an Emergency Medical Technician. His nickname is BLT.

Jesse Coyne He was involved with Boy Scout Troop 1216.

Our Post is a member of Scuzbums (Southern California Small Boat Messabout Society). The Scuzbums are a society of boat builders, admirers, enthusiasts, and all those who love to mess about in small boats. They have amazing get-togethers where anyone who is a member can come to have fun with friends and just sail around.
