Chris pulled into Jen’s driveway. Jen didn’t want to go inside and leave this wonderful night.  There was an awkward silence and Jen got a little nervous.

Chris: Jen, I had an awesome time with you.

Jen: I did too.

Chris: Do you maybe want to go out with me again? I mean I really want to get to know you better.

Jen’s face lit up. She turned to face Chris and smiled sweetly at him. Chris smiled back and Jen told him she would love to. Chris leaned over and they kiss for a  few moments then Jen went inside. She went upstairs and ended up calling Kerry to talk.

Kate raised her head from Jesse’s shoulder and stood up. Jesse was surprised asking what she was doing. Kate told him she wanted to walk down to the lake. Jesse took her hand and they walked down. They stood on the dock. Everything was dark. Jesse looked down to Kate and put his arms around her waste. Kate smiled.

Jesse: It’s just us down here.

Kate: That’s what I love about being down here.

Jesse: I love you, Kate.

Kate smiled up at him. She was startled by it, but almost expected it. She looked straight into his eyes and saw that he meant every word.

Kate: I love you too, Jesse.

Jesse: I’ve been wanting to tell you for a while now, but I wanted to wait for the right time.

Kate wrapped her arms around his neck and began kissing him. After 5 minutes they sat down on the bench that was on the dock. They began making out. Jesse loved kissing Kate. It was something that felt so right to him. A frog jumped onto the dock and Kate freaked. Jesse started laughing. She sat on his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck. She leaned down and kissed his lips lightly before they walked back up to the house where they said bye to the family when it came time to drive Kate home. They got in his car and drove to Kate’s. Jesse leaned over and kissed Kate for a couple minutes.

Jesse: I love you.

Kate: I love you too.

Kate climbed out of the car and walked to the door.

Greg was lying on his bed trying to figure out what he did wrong to make Casey want to kiss another guy. He was pondering a lot of thoughts when Amanda, his sister, came into his room. She took one look at him and sat down next to him on his bed.

Amanda: Jesse just called.

Greg: Just tell my friends I’m asleep if they call.

Amanda: He wanted me to tell you Frankie called him.

Greg: Great…

Amanda: What’s going on Greg?

Greg: Nothing, Amanda. Can I just be alone?

Amanda: Sure. I’ll tell your friends your sleeping.

Greg: Thanks

Amanda shut the door to his room and Greg was left with his thoughts. He thought he wanted to call Kerry, but realized she probably wanted nothing to do with him anymore. Worse of all, he had a date with Casey the next night. He didn’t know what the heck he was going to say to her. Just then the phone started ringing. He heard Amanda pick up and tell the person that he was sleeping. When Amanda asked who was speaking she told her to hang on a moment. Amanda ran upstairs.

Amanda: Greg, Amanda’s on the phone. I told her you were sleeping, but if your upset maybe she’ll make you feel better.

Greg: I don’t think so. She’s the problem.

Amanda: Are you breaking up?

Greg: I don’t know, just tell her I’m sleeping and leave it at that.

Amanda walked out again. Greg was so furious at Casey that he couldn’t believe she called him.

When Jesse had hung up the phone with Frankie and called Greg, Amanda had told him she would tell Greg he called. Jesse felt bad and decided to call Kate. He told her everything that happened to Greg. Kate was surprisingly happy to hear Jesse’s story.

Kate: Do you know what this means!?

Jesse: That Greg and Casey are gonna break up?

Kate: And when they break up do you know what that means….?

Jesse: Oh yah! Kerry!

Kate: That means all of your friends will be paired up with all of my friends.

Kate told Jesse she wanted to call Kerry. Kerry was still on the phone with Jen when Kate started to beep through. Instead of hanging up with Jen, Kerry beeped her in. Kate said hi and soon found out she was talking to Jen and Kerry.

Kate: Guess what Jesse told me?

Jen: What?

Kate: Greg went out tonight and caught Casey kissing another guy. He didn’t say anything to her, but he probably will since tomorrow night they have plans.

Jen: Aww, poor Greg!

Kerry: And all she did was yell at him.

Kate: Well, Kerry, Greg will probably be coming after you once him and Casey break it off.

Kerry: And I’m supposed to care why?

Kate: Just admit that you like him!

Kerry: Fine so I do. Big whoop.

Jen: Greg obviously likes you Kerry.

Kerry: Oh well. So what makes you think that Casey and Greg won’t make up?

Kate: Well it’s kinda hard when he catches her kissing another guy…

Jen: Seriously. You know what you should do? Go where Greg and Casey are supposed to go tomorrow so when they break up, the first person he’ll see is you.

Kerry: I would never do that!

Kate: It’s a good idea…

Kerry: No way!

Jen: And what pry tell are you going to do?

Kerry: Absolutely nothing.

Kate: Kerry this is your chance to get the best guy. You like him, and he’s not like the stupid guys at school.

Kerry: Just forget about it. Has anyone heard from Morgan and Crystal tonight?

Jen: Not me.

Kate: Not me. I wonder how their dates went with Frankie and Matt.

Kerry: It’s a good question. So anyway, Jen, you’re going out with Chris again. When?

Jen: Well he wants to go out tomorrow night.

Kate: That’s so awesome Jen!

Jen: I’m really excited.

Kate: Oh yah! Jesse and the rest of the guys might be coming to our school next year. How awesome is that going to be?

Kerry: Cool! Then all of you can be close with them. It’s like perfect.

Jen: And you and Greg can be close too….

Kerry: Drop it already! Haha

They went on to talk until Jen said she was tired and wanted to go to sleep. They all hung up. Jen looked forward to seeing Chris tomorrow. Nobody had heard from Morgan and Crystal. Kate wanted to go shopping with Kerry during the day and didn’t know if she and Jesse would do anything the next night. Kerry had already forgotten mostly about Greg but she still liked him.
