The next day all the girls met at the club as they promised Jack. As miraculous as it is, he got the date switched. The girls were so happy. On their way walking out Chad called Kerry to confirm their plans. Chad had been waiting for a while to ask Kerry out on a second date, but she’s been busy.

Chad: So we’re still on for this Saturday right?

Kerry: of course. I was wondering. What are you doing Friday?

Chad: I don’t think anything. Why?

Kerry: Well the club Spotlight opens that night and since I know the owner I have to be there. I was wondering if you would stop by. I’ll save a dance for you if you do.

Chad: (knowing how good at dancing Kerry was) Definitely! I’ll probably stop in around 9:00. Will you be there then?

Kerry: Ya, I’m goin to head over there around 8:30.

Chad: Great then uh, I’ll see you Friday night then again on Saturday.

Kerry: Sounds great! Well I’ll ttyl ok?

Chad: Got it. Cya later babe.

Kerry: Bye

When Kerry hung up she had an excited look on her face. She told everyone Chad would be stopping by Friday night. Kate had to get home so she left Jen and Kerry. The two girls decided to drive over to Crystal’s and hang out with her. When they got there Morgan was over too. The four girls ended up giving each other facials. They went out to dinner then all headed home.

When Kate had left Jen and Kerry earlier she had gone home to email Jesse. If there was one thing she could count on, it was him checking his email while he was gone.

Dear Jesse,

             I hope your show goes good. I know you’ll be busy and probably won’t get an opportunity to call me anytime soon. I knew you would check your email sooner or later. Just saying I miss you. Tell all the guys I said hey.

Once she sent the email, she almost wished she hadn’t. She was turning into obsessive. She decided no more emails or calling him. He will call her when he can, and email her when he could. She didn’t want to scare him at all. She decided to call it a night earlier since they would be at the beach the next day.

The next morning the girls went to the beach as planned. Crystal had brought a guy named Todd to join them. The two were so cute playing in the water together. Morgan was talking to Kerry about the club Spotlight and how awesome it was gonna be to go. Jen was talking to Kate. Kate had explained how she decided nothing more to Jesse, and just wait for him to make the move. Jen was proud of the decision her friend had made. The four of them after tanning for 2 hours stood up and grabbed Todd and Crystal. They went over to a volleyball net and took out their ball and began playing. It wasn’t too long before 2 hott guys came up to hit on Crystal and Jen. The two flirted a lot. Kate laughed at the two of them and invited Kerry to go get a drink with her. There was a cool beach bar that they headed too. Kerry ordered two strawberry daiquiris. As they were about to pay a guy handed the bar tender some money.

Guy: It’s on me.

Kate: Thanks. How old are you?

Guy: I’m 17. Name’s Marcus. How old are you two?

Kate: We’re 17. I’m Kate and this is Kerry.

Marcus: Cool. Are you guys just here for the day?

Kerry: Yah. Thanks for the drinks.

Marcus: No problem.

Kerry: (noticing how cute he was) Do you wanna come play volleyball with us and our friends?

Marcus: Definitely!

Marcus followed the girls to where the others were playing. They spent the rest of the time goofing off. Marcus said he had to go and said it was cool meeting them. Kerry was happy he didn’t ask for any numbers because she doesn’t like to give her number out to people she meets at beaches and clubs. They all ended leaving around 4:30. That night Kerry spent the night at Morgan’s. Morgan was helping choose an outfit for her date with Chad by going shopping the next day.
