Jenny: So sweetie you wanna do anything this weekend?

Jenny: What do you want to do?

Jenny: Chris!!!!

Jenny: Are you even listening to me?

Chris: Of course I am sexy, we’re going shopping tomorrow.

Jenny: You know Chris, sometimes I feel like I’m talking to a wall when I talk to you. It’s like your mind is elsewhere and you don’t even hear me! I’m so sick of this, I’ll talk to you whenever.

And with that Jenny hung up on Chris and immediately 3-way speed dialed her two best friends: Kerry and Kate.

Kerry: Hello?

Kate: Hello?

Jenny: Guys I need your help…

Kate: What’s going on Jenny Benny?

Jenny: It’s Chris…

Kerry: What is going on with people and their boyfriends these days? It shouldn’t bee so hard….love is bliss!

Kate: Yeah if you’re Barbie and Ken, get a life.

Jenny: Hellooo, back to me!

Kerry: Why? What’s going on with you and Jesse, I figured he’d come crawling back to you after Landon is done?

Kate: Are you kidding me? He practically went through the roof in the car yelling at me telling me how he wouldn’t be around forever!

Kerry: Yea when he tells you he wont be around forever he’s trying to tell you he wants you back dumbass!

Kate: He does not, at least you wouldn’t think that if you heard him. He was serious.

Jenny *Yells*: OK LISTEN TO ME OR I’LL CALL THE TWINS!!!!!

Kate & Kerry: WHAT JENNY!

Jenny: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Kate: WHAT!!!!!

Kerry: Yea Jen WHAT!

Jenny: I think Chris is drifting…

Kerry: Why do you say that?

Jenny: He doesn’t listen to me, he wont do anything…I don’t know what to say to him anymore!

Kate: I’m sorry Jen. But do you really think he would do that to you and not say anything to you? Or would he….dun dun dun! HAHAHA

Jenny: Kate! Seriously that doesn’t exactly help…

Kerry: Ok Jen think of it logically and seriously, how long has he been doing this?

Jenny: Well only-

Kate: Oh sorry look I don’t wanna but I have to go, dinner calls, I’ll talk to you later about this!

“But I think it’s another girl…” Jenny said to the dead phone.

*Beep*

Kerry: Greeeg!!!

Greg: Haha hey Ker-Bear, what you up to?

Kerry: Nothing, I think Jenny and Chris are having problems, have he said anything about her?

Greg: No…not really…at least not to my memory. Sorry.

Kerry: That’s ok, I’m sure it’ll work out ok.

Greg: Yeah, so….I was thinking….

Kerry: What’s on your mind?

Greg: My parents are taking my sisters into the city for the day Saturday….so I got the house to myself….alllllll aloooooone for a WHOLE day! What am I GOING to DO?

Kerry: Are you trying to ask me over?

Greg: What else would I be doing?

Kerry: I don’t know!!

Greg: Haha, of course I am! I’m gonna be so alone without you

Kerry: Aww ok, I guess I’ll come over.

Greg: Ok great but Amanda needs the phone….again….I was lucky I could get it when she was off!

Kerry: Ok, I’ll talk to you later byes!

Kerry got up from her couch and put the phone back in the cradle, but as soon as she put it down and turned it around, it started ringing again…the caller ID said Raposo.

Kerry: Greggy you just can’t stop talking to me can you baby?

Amanda: This isn’t Greg…

Kerry: What? Oh crap

Amanda: Sorry, this is Amanda…

Kerry: Oh god I feel so stupid….I’m sorry

Amanda: That’s ok, and I know we haven’t really talked and I’ve just seen you in the house and all, but I didn’t know who else I could talk to.

Kerry: No that’s ok, is something wrong?

Amanda: Yeah, I mean I figured since you’re like older and all and I’m sure you’ve had lots of other boyfriends, that you would be able to help me.

Kerry: Sure, I love helping. Hehe

Amanda: Ok, well there’s this guy at school-

Kerry: Name?

Amanda: *laughs* Matt. But there’s also another guy, Cory.

Kerry: Well it’s simple, now the “nice” way to do this is to make a list and write out all the things that you like about each and whichever has more written down, you pick him…but I prefer the easy way. Which is cuter? *laughs to self*

Amanda: No, it’s not that. I don’t like Cory, but he is, well I hate to say it, but OBSESSED with me! And he’s messing things up with me and Matt too. He’s just ALWAYS there!!

Kerry: Oh

Amanda: Yeah, and it would be the worst if my brother knew about this because, well it just would be, my brother is protective…

Kerry: Yea I can imagine. Ok look I’ll think about this one for a little and I’ll call you back? Is that good?

Amanda: Yes, thanks so much Kerry, you’re my favorite girlfriend Greg’s had so far! *laughs*

Kerry: *laughs* thanks, bye.

Amanda: Bye

Kerry hung up and hesitated before putting the phone back down, to see if anyone ELSE happened to call. No one did. “How am I going to help her,” Kerry said to no one.

Great, all my friends have better lives than I do and boyfriends that care. Meanwhile I’m left with Chris who could care less if I existed or not. That’s an idea…no one would even notice….
