The next day it was about 10-10:30 that they all got up. Since Kerry wouldn’t get up, Kate decided to piss her off. She ran to the bathroom and got a small washcloth. Then she soaked it in freezing cold water. Quickly, Kate ran back into the room and rang it out on Kerry’s face, making her jump so high!

Kerry: AH SHHH! What was THAT for?!

All four of them were laughing so hard they were crying.

Kerry: OoOoOo Kate!!!! I WILL get you! I am telling you now, so consider this your warning!!!!

Kate was laughing and rolling around the floor.

Jen: OMG! Guys!! We have only 2 hours to get ready!

They each took turns taking a shower. Then, with 4 irons plugged it (almost causing a power shortage), they straightened their hair and did make up. Kerry was wearing jeans with a blue Rusty tank and Jen had on a short jean skirt and a lacy Hollister tank. Sparkle was wearing dark jeans and a Paul Frank T-shirt. Spencer was wearing a blue Cookie Monster shirt with army green cargo pants. Kate wore a red Billabong Shirt and light jeans. They all looked super cute in their own way.

As they were walking downstairs Kate ran into her bro, literally.

Kate: Whoa what are you doing home?

Chris: Get outta the way…..wow where did all of you come from? And where are you going?

He bombarded them with questions.

Kate: they all stayed the night and we’re going to the movies. There, now answer my question.

Chris: I came home for the weekend, gotta problem with that?

Kate: No, I don’t. Cya later!

He mumbled something like Goodbye or Later to her but she couldn’t make it out, not that it mattered.

They all got into Kate’s black Escalade and they drove off towards the movies.

They pulled into the parking lot and saw all 5 guys standing in front of the theater.

Chris: Ok, so we’re meeting these 2 girls and they’re bringing their friends?

Frankie: Yeah, that’s what we said.

Chris mumbled: Not likely they’ll be like Jenny…

Matt: What was that?

Chris: Huh? Uh, I didn’t say anything.

Greg: Dude, yeah you did. Something about Jenny or whatever?

Chris: Forget it, she’s some girl I met at the club, it’s not like I’m ever gonna see her again, a one time thing, you know?

Greg: Uh, no, I don’t know, but ok.

Frankie: Matt, is that one of them sticking their head out of that Escalade?

Jesse: Nice car…

Matt: Yeah, that’s them.

Kate stopped the car in front of the movies so Sparkle could talk to Matt.

Sparkle: Hey you!

Matt: Hey hey! So these are your friends?

Jen: Holy crap that’s Chris!!! OMG! OMG!

Matt: Yeah, Chris, wait, oh god, you don’t happen to be Jenny, are you?

Jen: Yeah, that’s me!

Jen hopped out of the car and ran to Chris. She gave him the biggest hug.

Chris: Whoa, who’s hugging me? Jen? OMG is it really you?

Jen: Yeah! It’s me!! Oh, you didn’t know they were my friends did you?

Chris: No.

Jen: Why are you so surprised to see me again…..

Kerry was up front with Kate and they were just sitting there. Sparkle, Spencer, and Jen all had gotten out of the car to greet “their guys” or whatever.

Jesse and Greg were off to the side while the other 3 guys talked. It was sort of an awkward moment for them. Jesse looked at who was driving the Escalade and mumbled ‘o shit’ to himself.

Greg: What?

Jesse: Take a look at who’s driving, it’s the bia from the club last night! God this is one small small world.

But Greg wasn’t looking at Kate, he was looking at Kerry.

Kerry: (to Kate) Um, Kate, is it just me or is that realllly hot guy looking at me?

Kate: Wow he is hot! And yeah he is!! Haha. You have a really hot guy staring at you, and I have a cute guy glaring at me! Wow this world is fascinating, just fascinating!

Kerry: Well if you hadn’t gone of on him last night, maybe he wouldn’t look at you that way?

Kate: Yeah, whatever.

Kate hit the button so the passenger window went down and yelled to the girls.

Kate: Kerry and I are gonna go park, be back in a couple!

She pulled away from the curb and drove around looking for a spot. She finally found one. Kerry and Kate got out and Kate locked the car. They walked towards the movies.

Jen: You seem so surprised that I’m here. How come?

Chris: You think I’m surprised? Psh, no way! I’m happy you’re here!

If there was one thing Chris was good at, it was girls. He knew just what to say and when.

Matt, Sparkle, Frankie, and Spencer were getting tickets and holding hands and talking. It was the cutest thing.

Kate and Kerry walked up and Greg didn’t miss a thing.

Greg: (to Jesse) watch this, I’m gonna get this Kerry girl.

Jesse: Yeah, ok.

Greg: (to Kerry) Hey, I’m Greg.

Jesse: Easy killer with those lines, woo that was harsh! Don’t scare her off now!

Kerry (confused): I’m Kerry.

They hit it off right away, talking about practically everything all at once.

Kate was sort of off to the side and Jesse too except on the other side. Neither of them said much and the rest of the group were thinking exactly the same thing. They all knew what happened the night before, not like it was a big deal or anything, Jesse just called her a brat. Jen whispered something to Chris.

Chris: Hey jester, just talk to her, maybe she isn’t so bad once you get to know her.

Jesse: I dunno.

Chris: Come on, she’s hot and all, why not just see if she’s ok?

Jesse: Yeah, I guess…

Jesse walked over to Kate.

Jesse: Hey

Kate: Hi..

Jesse: Ok, look, I know we didn’t exactly start off ok, but maybe…

Kate: Ok, Hi, I’m Kate.

Jesse: (a little relieved) ~laughs~ I’m Jesse.

Kate: (smiling) What’s so funny?

Jesse: Nothing, nothing at all.

Then he started to stare at her.

Kate: (confuddled) Um, Jesse, why are you staring at me?

Jesse: I’m waiting for you to do a trick…(smiles)

Kate: (looks down) Ooooooh hah!

Everyone go their tickets for the movie and each walk into the theater.
