Becky and Debby Modeling for Disneyland

The Ashim's live in the sleepy little village of Thousand Oaks, California, near Los Angeles. Larry and Karen have two daughters, Becky and Debby (watch the spelling, please).

Larry: Larry is an oceanographer working for Arete Associates in Sherman Oaks, CA. Larry grew up in Minneapolis where he attended Minneapolis public schools. He received a bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Kansas, Department of Physics and Astronomy. While in the U.S. Navy, Larry received a master's degree in oceanography from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. When he is not commuting or working, Larry spends time as editor of Norseman Lodge, the Thousand Oaks chapter of Sons of Norway.

Karen: Karen is an assistant principal at Fillmore High School, Fillmore, CA. She traveled a great deal as she grew up with her four sisters. Her father was a U.S. Marine Corps officer. She graduated from Weber High School in Ogden, UT. Karen received a bachelor's degree from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. She received her master's degree in school counseling from California Lutheran University here in Thousand Oaks. Most nights finds Karen at home finishing up schoolwork.

Becky: Becky was born at Fort Ord, CA, and has lived in California, Rhode Island, Washington, and Oregon. She graduated from Thousand Oaks High School and Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR, where she was a member of Sigma Alpha Sorority. She now lives in Carlsbad, CA, and works for the PrintHouse in Vista, CA.

Debby: Debby was born at Bremerton, WA, and has lived in Washington, and California. She graduated from Thousand Oaks High School and where she was the secretary of the ASB. She currently attends Wagner College on Staten Island, New York.
