Qualifying is now over. The unofficial qualifying standings as of 1/19/02 have been posted. The competition was tough throughout qualifying and will only get tougher in the races. If you have not received the e-mail for second round replays and are in the top 100 e-mail tsw500@dash4cash-racing.com for details. The deadline for replays is Wednesday the 23rd at 7:00pm EST.
(1/17/02) UPDATE
The unofficial qualifying standings as of 1/16/02 have been posted. Speeds are extremely close with just three days remaining in second round. The password for second round qualifying is the same as first round. If you have not received the e-mail for either of the rounds, please e-mail tsw500@dash4cash-racing.com.
(1/13/02) REPLAYS
We have not received qualifying replays from the following drivers as of 1/13/02 10:10pm EST.

2-loose(BC)
Powerplant72
Degener8
rwildrick
XQQSME_TER
Sentec
BABABOOEY
XTREME14
Nesman90
Due to recent problems with drivers not receiving e-mails I am posting this on the main site to help make sure all top 60 drivers are aware they need to send in their replays. The deadline of 7:00pm EST on 1/14/02 will still stand regardless of the reason for not sending the replay. If you know any of these drivers or see then in a chat or race please let them know they must get their replay in to tsw500@dash4cash-racing.com.
(1/12/02) FIRST ROUND QUALIFYING IS OVER
First Round qualifying is now over. The Unofficial standings are posted. Those that are in the top 60 will get an e-mail soon on what to do with your replay. Everyone outside the top 60 will have the choice of standing on your time or requalifying in hopes of a better time. If you requalify your run during Second Round will be the one that counts. Second Round will begin on Tuesday and go exactly how First Round went using the same password. If you choose not to requalify you do NOT need to notify us, just don't requalify. Please note that a tie is broken by who qualified first during the week and that any ties throughout the standings will not be disputed.
NOTE: WE ARE AWARE OF THE ONE DRIVER WITH TWO QUALIFYING RUNS AND IT IS BEING TAKEN CARE OF
LAST DAY RUNNING LONGER
Due to the late start today, we will hold the qualifying until 1:30pm EST. If you get in the server and I am not there please wait a few minutes and I will be there to start the session before the time ends.
(1/11/02) RECAP UPDATED and CURRENT QUAL STANDINGS POSTED
The Recap page has been updated current as of thefourth day day. So far Dain Ness(Procraft) is still fastest with a lap of 47.033sec 191.355mph. We will add another session to Saturday morning qualifying making five sessions total tomorrow morning. We won't stay there all day, so if it looks as if no one else is coming we will shut it off.
The current unofficial qual standings have been posted. I urge everyone to at least attempt to qualify if you already haven't. Its possible there will be an empty spot or two for wild card provisionals, and we would like to see participation before giving out a provisional.
(1/9/02) CURRENT QUAL STANDINGS
The current qualifying standings will not be posted today. I forgot to have the program switched to read the qual results and not the practice results after we decided to change the procedures. It should be done within the next few days in which the standings will be posted.
(1/8/02) QUALIFYING BEGINS TODAY
Today marks the first day of First Round qualifying for the 2002 TSW 500. Four sessions will be run today, and not one more. If you cannot make it into any of the four sessions then you will have to try again tomorrow.
E-MAILS
There is a major problem with e-mails right now. I am willing to bet close to 25% of the roster is not receiving the e-mails. Many of which are due to incorrect address or users with @home or Excite accounts. Yahoo accounts and a few Hotmail accounts are also bouncing back. AOL users are seemingly not receiving the e-mails sent by the TSW 500, but we are not receiving messages of them bouncing back. Please be sure your e-mail account provider does not stop spamming, because they may see our e-mails as spams. Below is a list of the e-mail accounts that are getting returned:

(1/4/02) QUALIFYING
The website has been updated. The procedures has been updated. We will pretty much run like last year. Please read the Procedures page completely before asking questions, making comments, or trying to qualify.
(1/2/02) PROCEDURES
I apologize for the confusion about the procedures. The fact is, I did not plan the qualifying out enough when I came up with the procedures on how to do it. In years past, we did qualifying using the actual qualifying session and having the top XX ammount of driver send in the replays of their run. Each year spawned a new problem and it turns out to be too much of a hassle for what it is worth. This year I decided to do it during the practice session so everyone can see each other's qualifying run, and we as admins can also watch for rule infractions without the hassle of replays. I did not calculate the time it would take to do 500+ drivers. We have a little over 780 drivers signed up. It would take approximately 25 solid hours or more to do that many drivers. That is 25 hours straight. Even spread over a week, it is still much more work than should be expected of anyone. It is not easy directing drivers during qualifying, especially for a full week.
A decision has not been made as of now on what we will do exactly. Regardless, qualifying will still be important and everyone should still continue to work on their qualifying setups. Whatever is decided, everyone will be notified in plenty of advance.
(12/31/01) DRIVER LIST AND PROCEDURES UPDATED
The driver list is as current as I can make it. If you have not received confirmation and you signed up before this morning then you need to resubmit your registration. Registration will close tomorrow New Years Day at 6:00pm EST. No more registrations will be taken after this time and there will be NO EXCEPTIONS!
The Procedures page has also been updated. The Qualifying section has been modified based on the information we learned from the test. First and Second round qualifying will be held from Tuesday to Saturday on their respective weeks; instead of the original Saturday only. After doing some calculations we found we would not be able to do 500+ drivers in one day. The rules for qualifying have also been updated. Please read the procedures page over again to make sure you know what is going on. Anyone showing up to qualify and not knowing what to do will be left behind. It is the responsibility of each driver to know what to do.
(12/29/01) QUALIFYING TRIAL RUN RESULTS
I have the completed results from this morning's trial run here. It was a productuve run and most everyone conducted themselves with professionalism as well as listened to and understood the instrucitons. The procedures for qualifying will be slightly modified the next few days to reflect what we have learned.
(12/29/01) REGISTRATION
Registration will end on New Years day at 6:00pm EST. No more entries will be taken after this time for the 2002 TSW 500.
(12/27/01) REGISTRATION UPDATE #2
The Driver list has been posted as of 12/27/01 at 11:45pm EST. Everyone on the list has been accepted. Confirmations were sent out to everyone up to this point. Over 500 drivers have now signed up approaching last year's 700+ entries. Registration is set to close sometime next week. However, an exact date has not yet been set.
(12/27/01) CHAMPION SHOOTOUT
Please stop asking about this race. It is a long ways away and it is possible we will not have it. The main concern from now until then will be registrations and qualifying. More details about this race will be given out later.
(12/19/01) REGISTRATION UPDATE
The Driver list has been posted as of 12/19/01 at 8:14pm EST. Everyone on the list has been accepted. I am trying to get confirmations out, but due to the massive size of the list I cannot send more than 50 or so at a time. I had a non-hotmail account st up but outgoing mail is not working as of yet. So please, if your buddy got a confirmation and you didn't, wait a few days before you panic and resend your registrations. Again, everyone on the list has been accepted.
(12/14/01) REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
Registration is now open. Registration may be suspended a few times for a period of a day at a time to allow me to catch up and not to get too far behind. Registration will close officially around a week before First Round qualifying. The exact date will be given at a later time.
(12/12/01) REGISTRATION OPENS SOON!
Registration will open Friday December 14th for the 2002 TSW 500.
