Storms and other scenes from the playa

This is one of
the many cool dust
devils that we saw floating
across the playa

Later, we had a big storm blow through
(really blow though!). During the storm
a large group of people rushed out and
started banging on this metal sculpture.

It was like everyone was tapping
into the energy of the storm and releasing it into the metal. Esp. at the beginning, when we couldn't see the rest of Black Rock City, and were an isolated group - the energy was tremendous.
