Hi everyone!
Are you sure you want to read this page? :) I was just thinking
there's no need to coz I'm like "what you see is what is you get" type of person.
For those who don't know. I'm 30 years old and will be turning
31 in January 5th. When I was a kid I wanted to be a newscaster on TV. I tried that gig when I was in college but did not
pursue it because no one was willing to sponsor my hair and make-up plus outfit! Joke. I tried doing it on tv for a week I
guess was that. (crying out to college friends: was that for a week or more than that?). I was the reliever of the then newscaster
on ABC tv 11 now turned vice Mayor of Zamboanga City, Ms. Climaco. It was a short stint but very memorable. I cannot forget
my ever supportive classmates and friends who were there backing me up everyday after school to tape evening news for the
day. Names in my heart and memory are James Desiderio, my ever loyal-trying-be-make-up-artist-friend-classmate (he's in American
Samoa now with a good paying job plus lots of men?). Neil Nave, my bestfriend who was always there not only because he's doing
a jockey job at DXEL FM (located at same building of ABC 11) but because he provided me with dress to wear on my tapings.
Emma was there and Matte too. Trying to be assistant directors. Wow, I've been trying to remember the name of the head in
the news department who was direting me but I just cannot. Sorry. But anyway, those were the things in the past that I haven't
looked back for quite sometime but still precious to me. So that's it. I gave up my dream of becoming a newscaster just because
after graduation I thought of something else to do -- to study again and be a lawyer. This is something unfinished business.
Should I forget about this? I don't know, honest. What I'm most interested about is my here and now.
Here and now...
I'm an expectant mom. As of this writing, I'm 5 mos and 3
weeks pregnant, approximately. My husband and I are expecting to have our baby in January first or second week. I'm really
excited about this whole thing, being a mom and a wife. But sometimes things are not easy with regard to either my pregnancy
and marriage so I still hope that you guys will include me in your prayers.
More about me:
I grew up in Iligan City. I had my early education at Iligan City West Central School. I studied
a few years at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Academy and finished my highschool at Diplahan National High School at Zamboanga
del Sur. I finished my undergraduate course at Ateneo de Zamboanga University and finished my post graduate at Mindanao State
University.
I started working at the age of 20 at Purefoods Corporation in their customer service dept, this
is in Ortigas Center Manila. I only stayed there for 4 mos, got homesick and went home. I got a job three mos after that at
an FM station as newscaster and disc jockey in Iligan City and studied Law at the same time. On my third year, I could not
do them altogether so I quit working and finish the course. I graduated at the age of 25 from Law school, went to University
of the Philippines and took the bar after that but flunk. I did not take the exam again. I went back to Iligan and got the
radio job again. Sometime in 2004, I decided to relocate and work here in Cebu City. I've been working at peoplesupport
for over three years now. I got married in Cebu in May of 2007. And life is more colorful after that.

I had no clue that I'd marry the person behind
the camera.

At the tops!
This photo was taken by Joe.
It was a little bit cold up there (TOPS, hilltop overlooking Cebu City)
but Joe's presence plus non-stop babble of Ruben made it warm @ 6PM January 1, 2007.
