A Glimpse Into the Fascinating Life of: Mahtin!

My name is Karen Mahtin. I grew up near Boston, Mass., and I now reside in the San Francisco Bay Area . I am a graduate of Brandeis University, with a B.A. in Latin American Studies and Spanish Language and Literature. On campus, I coordinated some student groups like BURP!. I've also done some work with gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender youth communities, and some HIV/AIDS prevention and education. Right now, I’m more obsessed with permaculture and organic gardening. And of course taking care of my kitty cat, riding my bike, and spending time with my lovers.

Other interests: the wicked awesome band Thumper from Somerville, the movie “So I Married an Axe Murderer,” poet Saul Williams, photography, reading, research, ADD, poetry, avoiding many, but alas, not all, of my exes (hey, I'm doing the best I can).
