Ian ~ February 21, 1985 ~ March 18, 2005
This website remains in honor of Ian's life and
in memory of his couragous fight against Testicular Cancer. What a noble and brave young man Ian is, as
he faced his pain and sickness with such grace and dignity, knowing that he would win... A loving inspiration to his mom and
all who suffered with him. Ian is very much loved and missed.
We thank each one of you, family and friends, for
all of your love, prayers, and support.
My dear son, with all that I am, I love you more than
everything, I love you forever. -Mom

For those who don't know Ian very well, he is a 2003
graduate of Lee's Summit High School, and played on the Lee's Summit High School Football team for 4 years. He was a
student at Longview Community College, attended church at Unity Village Chapel, and worked at a local
mailing/shipping company called Express Pak-n-Ship at the time of his diagnosis. He is 19 years old. His love is playing
his guitar, singing, and composing his own songs. He was playing in local venues around Kansas City, Blue Springs
and Lee's Summit, and having the time of his life when he was then given this life challenge of healing from cancer in
the 3rd stage, which means that the cancer was already in his stomach, liver, lungs, and his brain at the time of diagnosis.
Thank you for surrounding Ian and his family with your love
and prayers, as this is the most powerful and blessed thing you can do for Ian and for us. We know God in him is
already whole and healed and perfect. Your love reminds us we are One in the Christ Spirit, and each time you think of Ian,
there is a prayer in the mind and heart of God. Many thanks, our prayers and love go out to you as well.
What Cancer Cannot Do
Cancer is so limited...
cannot cripple Love
cannot shatter Hope
It cannot corrode Faith
It cannot destroy Peace
It cannot kill Friendship
It cannot suppress Memories
It cannot silence Courage
It cannot invade the Soul
It cannot steal Eternal Life
It cannot conquer the Spirit
