Of course it should be obvious that to say God has strings on us like we were puppets is terribly simplistic.

Saying that when the strings are cut the puppets have “independent free will to do and act as they desire” is being sarcastic, playing unjustly with your thoughts perhaps.  You know that when the strings of a puppet are cut the puppet slumps to the floor and is lifeless.  So it is when God cuts our strings.  We lie lifeless, are put in a box, and spend a long time in thoughtless existence[1] while our body decays into dust.[2]  Oh no, we are not forgotten by God because our spirit has returned to Him, just as Christ’s spirit returned to His God and Father[3] [4] when His strings were cut for the salvation of the world.[5]

And then what?  We go up to the attic, open the trunk, and lift out our little puppet, replacing the old strings, pull them, and the puppet has “life” again, renewed life.  For us time in the grave goes by unnoticed, much like our puppet in the trunk, and then comes the event we are all told about in the Bible.[6]  The First of all creation,[7] Christ Jesus, comes for us and we the elect, with the special salvation,[8] are given new strings, strings that will never be cut.[9]

What about the rest who have died?  Someday they get new strings too don’t they?  Well they must as it is written that the last enemy to be done away with is DEATH.[10]  There is much more I would like to tell you[11] but are you really ready for it?

[1]   Jpb 3:11  Why did I not die from the womb,  From the belly come forth and breathe my last?  12  For what reason did two knees anticipate me,  And why the two breasts that I could suck?  13  For now I would lie and be quiet;  I would sleep; then there would be rest for me,  14  With kings and counselors of the earth,  The builders of desert tombs for themselves,  15  Or with chiefs who had gold,  Who were filling their houses with silver.  16  Why was I not like a buried stillborn child,  Like babes who have not seen light?  17  There the wicked leave off all disturbance,  And there those wearied from vigor are resting.  18  Prisoners are tranquil together;  They do not hear the voice of the taskmaster.  19  Small or great, he is there,  And the servant is free from his lords.  20  Why is He giving light to the miserable,  And life to the bitter of soul  21  (Who tarry for death, yet it is not coming,  And delve for it more than for buried treasures,  22  Who rejoice unto exultation,  And are elated when they find the tomb),

Psa 115:17  7  The dead cannot praise Yah,  Nor all those descending into stillness

Psa 88:10  Would You perform marvelous works for the dead?  Or do Rephaim arise and acclaim You?  11  Is Your benignity recounted in the tomb,  Your faithfulness in destruction?  12  Are Your marvelous works known in darkness,  And Your righteousness in the land of oblivion?

Eccl 9:10  All that your hand finds to do, do with your vigor,  For there is no doing or devising or knowledge or wisdom  In the unseen where you are going.

[2]   Gen.3:19  In the sweat of your face shall you eat your bread, till your return to the ground, for from it are you taken, for soil you are, and to soil are you returning."

[3]   Ecc.12:7  And the soil returns to the earth just as it was,  And the spirit, it returns to the One, Elohim, Who gave it.

Luk 23 46  And shouting with a loud voice, Jesus said, "Father, into Thy hands am I committing My spirit." Now, saying this, He expires.

[4]   Rev 1:5  To Him Who is loving us  and looses us from our sins by His  blood  6  and  makes us a kingdom and priests to His God and Father

Col 2:1  For I want you to perceive what  the  struggle amounts to which I am having for your sakes and for those in Laodicea, and whoever have not seen my face in flesh,  2  that their hearts may be consoled, being united in love, and to all the  riches of  the assurance of understanding, unto a realization of the secret of the God and Father, of Christ,  3  in Whom all the   treasures of wisdom and knowledge are concealed.

[5]   1 Jo 4:14  And we have gazed upon Him, and are testifying that the Father has dispatched the Son, the Saviour of the world.

Joh 4:42  Besides, to the woman they said that "No longer because of your speaking are we believing, for we ourselves have heard Him, and we are aware that this truly is the Saviour of the world, the Christ."

[6]   1Th 4:14  For, if we are believing that Jesus died and rose, thus also, those who are put to repose, will God, through Jesus, lead forth together with Him.  15  For this we are saying to you by the word of the Lord, that we, the living, who are surviving to the presence of the Lord, should by no means outstrip those who are put to repose,  16  for the Lord Himself will be descending from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the Chief Messenger, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ shall be rising first,  17  Thereupon we, the living who are surviving, shall at the same time be snatched away together with them in clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. And thus shall we always be together with the Lord.  18  So that, console one another with these words.

[7]   Col 1 15  Who is the Image of the invisible God, Firstborn of every creature,

[8]   1Ti 4:9  Faithful is the saying and worthy of all welcome  10  (for for this are we toiling and being reproached), that we rely on the living God, Who is the Saviour of all mankind, 11  especially of believers. These things be charging and teaching.  [believers have a special salvation]

[9]   1Co 15:53  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal put on immortality.  54  Now, whenever this corruptible should be putting on incorruption and this mortal should be putting on immortality, then shall come to pass the word which is written,  Swallowed up was Death by Victory.  55  Where, O Death, is your victory?  Where, O Death, is your sting  [immortals never die]

[10]   1Co 15:25  For He must be reigning until He should be placing all His enemies under His feet.  26  The last enemy is being abolished: death.

[11]   Joh 16:12  "Still much have I to say to you, but you are not able to bear it at present.
