Hello! I'm Warren Hill, K7WX. I love nothing better than traveling with my friends from the Central Arizona DX Association to some pretty unusual locations.
Some of you may have known me previously as KF7AY. This was my call sign prior to November of 1996. While attending the University of Maryland in the late 1960's, I was WA3UFW. Before entering high school, I operated as WB6PRX from Southern California.
It's a very big world out there and friendship through amateur radio is but one of many ways by which we can begin to shrink the planet down to a more workable size. Working other DXers, and traveling to different countries, has provided a view of the world only possible in very few other activities. And the people that I have met have made all the difference! Radio amateurs such as 8Q7QC, 9G1NS, G3SXW, G4VPM, HS1ASC, K5VT, N7NG, OH2BH, W6BF and ZA1B have done much to show me what a wonderful hobby this is!
Over the last 20 years I have operated from a number of different countries and in the future have plans to operate from many more! Below is a listing of some interesting DX-related activities. |

I'm an ophthalmologist (eye physician & surgeon). I'm a graduate of the University of Arizona College of Medicine and did three years of ophthalmology residency training at the University of Rochester, in Rochester, New York and two years of internal medicine residency training at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Ophthalmology is devoted to the medical and surgical treatment of eye diseases. The focus of my particular practice is eye surgery in the medically complicated patient. This is an interesting medical specialty with many emotional rewards. |
