About JGGL
Jeanne's Great Game Links was created in 1997 when my gaming "Favorites" list became too large to manage. Finding hints, walkthroughs, reviews or patches for the various games I was playing became frustratingly time consuming. Because traditional gaming magazines tend to be biased, I needed to find more information. I realized that other gamers were probably experiencing the same frustrations.
Why so many links? Because ... I want to read different opinions on games before I buy them. I want to keep up with what new games are in the works and what is happening in the industry as a whole. Obviously you do too, and I am pleased to have so many repeat visitors each month.
Jeanne's Gaming History
My daughter (then age 8) got me hooked on adventure games when we played The Legend of Zelda on her original Nintendo Entertainment System. When I got my very first computer (a Tandy 1000SX) in about 1987, one of the first games I remember playing off of floppy disk was Leisure Suit Larry 1 followed by King's Quest 2. I was hooked and have now played literally hundreds of PC games -- Adventures, RPGs, Arcade and Action. Adventure is still my favorite genre.
Jeanne's Reviews, Hint Files and Walkthroughs
For many years, I have been an author for the Universal Hint System. See Jeanne's UHS Hint Files for a list of all my hint files and the few Walkthroughs I have written.
Links to all the games I have played (now numbering 300+) can be found on the Alphabetic Game Lists pages as well as links to reviews I've written.
