Greetings!
Our goal as an organization (and as individual members) is to support each other in an environment of trust and teamwork.
The Advisory Board consists of both long-standing and newer members who volunteer time to track various issues from membership
dues to conference and chapter event planning. Board members participate on a rotating basis.
The chapter was established to help members succeed and to celebrate all levels of success
-- from finishing that first manuscript and landing the first book deal to navigating publishing as a full-time career. While
each member’s needs and goals differ, we welcome whatever you have to offer -- be it your experience, expertise, or
enthusiasm JWKC/MCAG is an all volunteer organization. There is no paid staff. Dues is allocated to program expenses and
educational materials.
Benefits and opportunities through JWKC include:
• Networking and
support through the private JWKC ListServ
• Member promotion though the JWKC Web site
• Career and skills development with JWKC Events
• Discounted rates for most JWKC/MWG events
(and often first shot at registering
for conferences)
• Critique groups (dependent on capacity)
