Before forming The Jennifer
DeChiara Literary Agency in 2001, DeChiara was a literary agent with Perkins, Rubie & Associates and The Peter Rubie Literary
Agency. A New York City-based writer, she has worked in the editorial departments of Simon & Schuster and Random House
and has been a writing consultant to several major corporations. Jennifer is a frequent guest at writers conferences, where
she lectures on publishing and the art of writing. She specializes in children's literature of all ages -- picture books,
middle-grade, and young adult -- but also represents high-quality adult fiction and non-fiction in traditional and non-traditional

Linda Pratt, The Sheldon Fogelman Agency
Linda Pratt is an agent with the Sheldon Fogelman Agency, which specializes
in working with authors and illustrators of children’s books. She has worked at the agency in various
roles since graduating college, focusing primarily as an agent for the last 12 years. Her clients include award
winners and bestsellers such as Sharon Flake, Karen Beaumont and LeUyen Pham. She also enjoys
the thrill of making first sales such as she has done for clients Dave Keane, Jane Kelley and Eileen Beha. In

ICM since 2003, Tina Wexler represents adult and children's authors, with a focus on middle grade and young adult fiction.
Her clients include Jeannine Garsee, Donna Gephart, Sanjay Patel, Susan Runholt, Laurel Snyder, and Anne Ursu (children’s
market only). She is from southernMaine, holds an MFA in poetry, and lives
in Brooklyn, NY with her
husband. Interests: I am interested in acquiring edgy
young adult fiction, humorous middle grade fiction and the occasional quirky picture book. Particular interests
include mysteries, multicultural stories, and modernized retellings of popular myths and legends. I accept queries
