during the gold rush. Kathryn (Kate) White married Wellington's brother Livingston, but according to notes of Kathleen
Moore, she was always in love with Wellington. After leaving Livingston and her young daughter Minnie, Kathryn (Kate) White
Gregg married Wellington Gregg. The 1880 census shows him living in Redding and employed as a musician. In 1878, they moved
to San Francisco, where he worked in the cement and lime business with his son Harry. The children of Wellington and

Wellington Gregg, Sr. died in his sleep in 1918. His obituary was clipped and
