| Thursday July 1st, we cruised over to Silva Bay on Galiano Island, to meet new friends on a 45' trawler. They were rafted with another smaller boat, and while we were all talking, their anchor became unhooked from the bottom (wrong kind of anchor and not enough anchor rode), and we started drifting through the very crowded anchorage. I helped them get re-anchored, talked a bit more, then returned to our boat.
Saturday July 3rd, we left Silva Bay for Nanaimo, to attend a party at Miller's Pub that night. Unfortunately it was not our crowd, we left early and returned to our boat. |
