Refuge Cove, West Redonda Island &
Tenedos Bay, Gifford Peninsula
BC Canada

Thursday June 16th, we headed out from the Malaspina Inlet, north across to Refuge Cove on West Redonda Island, and to the famous Refuge Cove General Store. There we purchased some provisions and a 1-year non-resident Canadian fishing license ($118.00CAD). The store had just opened for the season, and there was not a good selection of nourishing foods..., lots of fatty junk foods, and the produce was over a week old (they get their food shipments once a week on Saturdays). The potable dock water was delicious, so I dumped our Egmont "cedar" water, and filled our water tanks. Connie used their laundromat (very expensive), and I bought some propane for the stove, and gasoline for the outboard engine on the dingy.

Then we headed back to the Gifford Peninsula and Tenedos Bay, a large bay (no big deal), so we went onto Prideaux Haven.
