Okeover Inlet & Madge Island
Gifford Peninsula, BC Canada

Still Wednesday June 16th... After exploring Theodosia Inlet, we headed south down the Okeover Inlet to the Laughing Oyster Restaurant, out in the middle of nowhere. We had heard from another couple we met in Grace Harbour who went there for lunch the previous day. They charged him $3.00CAD to tie his small dingy to the dock while they went up and ate at the Laughing Oyster Restaurant. They said the food was great but a little pricey. He said that the fee for over-night parking on the dock was $40.00CAD. We decided that they didn't need our money, took a few pictures from our boat, turned around an left.

We returned north, to the confluence of the Malaspina, Lancelot and Okeover Inlets, and dropped anchor behind a tiny islet called Madge Island. Finally, we were all alone out in the wilderness. It was wonderful, and the start of "gunkholing" for us.
