| Sunday June 13th, we entered Desolation Sound Marine Park, and went along the Gifford Peninsula to Grace Harbour, a well-protected tree-lined anchorage, that can support many boats at anchor. We stayed for a few days and went ashore to explore up a logging trail and came upon and old abandoned steam-jenny, used to cut logs many years ago. Many logs were hauled from this area many years ago. |

| Wednesday June 16th, we took a ride over to Theodosia Inlet. There is a submerged rock in the middle of the entrance you must avoid. Theodosia Inlet is a large and beautiful mountain lake in the middle of a tree-lined valley. Unfortunately there is a large clear-cut logging operation there that has strip-cut the forest bare, across the face of the pretties mountain face to the south. What a shame! |
