This weblog is my online journal. You'll find my opinions on a variety of topics as well as links to other things on the web that I find interesting. When the spirit moves me, I may also include longer essays. Of note is that I will not necescarily spell correctly, use coreckt grammer or politikally korect points of view... this is an attempt at just leting flow ideas into an areana that mostly people I care about only know... Now, if I see my stuff being quoted elsewere.. then I will go GULP and perhaps put up a better disclaimer. My goal is to be genuine, sanguine, and a little obtuse at times.

here is a web site... http://www.e-myth.com/pub/htdocs/articles.html I have the book, a friend loaned me and thereby I have been looking at the web site as well.... the general concept is that people who want to start thier own business .... need to realize that it takes many hats to pull it off. clear plans to pull it off. often a person has a dream and it is significant to address... why do i want to do this? how do i pull it off? it takes more then just knowing how to build furniture, bake cookies, write business data integration project plans and implement them... you need to do the work, manage the business, grow and address the future. ... do, direct, and dream. so...

I also found ... not knowing if it isthat same guy, the auther of E-myth but, apparently someone by that name lost his medical lisc in CA for treating with homeotherapy and herbs etc... and then there is this same guys name regarding his E Myth speaking fee... $12,500 .... cool.

Like anything, question it it's source and opposing views to understand it. At least in the Zen and Art of War... that is the mantra, know your enemy... knowledge is power eh? ...

like the critical review, the guy stoped reading at page 100 when it talks about hireing the lowest possible skill level, cause the 'experts' are expensive... that goes for atty or docs... i would not stop there, it makes sense to me. the best are expensive, it is like are you selling a boutique where the only client is in Aspen Colorado or are you selling TJMax stuff quality... where everyone is out there stopping in... where will your business make money? widgets or diamonds... same thing here. but that is for that task doer... if you want to hire a CEO for your business or a manager for your business you have to get the best you can afford so that person assists in GROWING... but the task doers, the grunts, whether they are applieing varnish to furniture, or drafting legal documents or treating the common cold, if you have a practice of white collar, you need to have some bulk people as well as a star.... anyway... many sides to many things....

I have not been here for a bit, but, here is a pic of my porch art deco screen. there is some detail finish work for it, but the bugs are out and the cats are in! ... also sold my blue bike to my housemate as I ran into a deal on a K100RS BMW for a rediculous price cause the shop did not want to try to see if it ran. They took it in on trade and said... 'as is' and after looking it over, looking over the R90/6 with slider carbs and hannagin fairing mounts and trick paint... I thought.. this guy that traded these two bikes is a bemmerfile, his bikes are where put away clean... they just sat... this K brick I bet all it needs is a battery... guess what... zoom zoom.

The bike is built for open road touring speeds, it does high way speed like butter and easily jumps right up to loose your liscense speeds in one downshift. I was still going right past 120 mph when I had to slow for traffic. So the claimed 137 mph... is likely. The fairing works well and this bike will be a perfect commuter and traveller. Once I have collected the money for the blue bike in full and my other airhead parts... the plan is to locate a used KLR650 dual sport that I can run around town, on trails with Phaelan, and put a tent on board and go in the hills for a quick get away when needed and or even low key touring the region. The difference is that it, a KLR, is a good 60 mpg all around beast, the K100RS cooks your legs in town and really eats up the miles and is good for tours and or getting from point A to point B. So, enough adue... let me up load and then I got to put some work time in.

My sabbatical is over.... time to get earning bavk money into my savings an all that jazz.
