This weblog is my online journal. You'll find my opinions on a variety of topics as well as links to other things on the web that I find interesting. When the spirit moves me, I may also include longer essays. Of note is that I will not necescarily spell correctly, use coreckt grammer or politikally korect points of view... this is an attempt at just leting flow ideas into an areana that mostly people I care about only know... Now, if I see my stuff being quoted elsewere.. then I will go GULP and perhaps put up a better disclaimer. My goal is to be genuine, sanguine, and a little obtuse at times.

The listings below are the archives, my web log is set to show 5 entries and then the rest go into archive by month. Enjoy, remember the only thing real in life is that we are born, we breath, we die. The rest is just a dream, don't take it all too seriously, making mistakes is like reprograming your EPROM chips (stays with you even after a reboot), learning by book is like loading knowledge into RAM... (easily forgotten. needs to be reloaded every time you reboot) ... um, he he, yeah, Carpe Diem................................................ yeah and some photo albums

Relationships and seeking relationships is a Hell of a challenge. A current ‘new friend’ has trust issues that while she told me of them, I am beginning to see them act out. So after I revealed to her, some say way too much revealing, my feelings and hopes, she has balked. Clearly her trust issues at play. I say this because, when faced with the reality of loosing interaction opportunities with her, I replied in a second that I could do ‘just friendship’ and then the next day she questioned, implying how could I be telling the truth that I was looking forward to exploring a deeper relationship if I so quickly retreated to the just friends position. I replied just as quick to that question it is simple logic, a simple Y branch logic choice that if I wanted to continue any interactions the only option was/is to accept her position and continue from a low key just friends place instead of a deeper more intense place of a relationship.

So now here I am, pondering, while she has a lot of attributes that I absolutely look for in potential people… I am pondering…. Why is dating so difficult? Why have so many people been emotionally injured and not able to be genuine? To be completely present? Why is it so much to ask?

I just read http://salon.com/mwt/feature/2004/04/29/bastard_couch/index.html and it seems that there is much more study to do here. And/or, I think, how can I turn my pain and suffering into a good book that is helpful to people?

Time will tell all.

JBlt.... isn't this the irony? 'Shouldn't there be rules?' .... The irony is that we the people allowthe journalisim, we the people allow the government, we the people as a society are responsible ultimately in the big picture here

i mean, we are allowing our government to claim moral and ethical rightousness in the 'war' of east and west, the war of rich and poor and yet we have sh t for ethics and morality as shown in the prison pictures, as shown in our media's conduct, as shown in the 'Survivor Series' tv show... ethics, and alliances be damed... it is about winning the million...

would it not be a trip, if the gamers on the survivor show, unified and instead of backstabing and competing allainces, in the show they unilaterally decided to set high ethic and moral standards and just took and split the million 18 ways with the winner in the end and take the 40k$ each after taxes and went on to leverage thier ethics and make millions in speeking engagements?

but no, we the people are too interested in me me me and money money money

so, are there rules for jurnalists? yeah, there are, we the people can stop buying into the corporate giants view of what they believe via market studies of what we the people want ... all of this is a reflection of ourselves

it is all a reflection of ourselves and what we want, the deciet in media, tv, newspaper, government and down to what level of our personal lives?

grassroots change in some manor of not inflicting harsh laws, but grassroots change in people individually and personally makeing quiet choices based on sound ethics and morality and thereby, supporting in the end, better journalists, politicians, and entertainment that offers good valu ejudgemnets stories

is it possible? ..... hard to say

what if we spent gobs of money instead of on bombs but spent it on books and school/academics? taught crtical thinking, ethics, problem solving, world society studies, heavy focus on communicating in communties, from the family unit, neighborhoods, subdivisions, towns/cities, counties, states, countries, continents, and up thru the world community? taught scientific PROCESS taught arts and encouraged creativiity, taght debate and give extra credit for PARTICIPATION in communiteies

that to fight terrorisim, the power thinks it should be a war of blood, the power is too stupid and blind to not see it needs to be a war of ideas and thereby therefore and to survive, we need to rebuild more then anything our academic process and access and not push content but push process of learning and critical thinking and unbderstanding others through valid research and study, not heresay, not rhetorick.....

forgive me.... i just had pizza from pappa johns and it CAME WITH a movie..... how long do we ponder why it SEEMS like there are no journalistic rules and yet..... we each hold the key?

well... in the chaos of life, while wrapping my brain around how to make money for bills and to maintain/improve the lifestyle i want, i have started building an art deco styled screen for the front porch. the porch is, or the opening in about 5 feet high and 15 feet wide, on a 1929 classic american bungalow and the design, will have an abstract M in it, and then my last name spelled out. as well. a very geometric design. the span will be split into three sections about 5x5 and each will be divided in 3rds. top third will be divided in 3rds as well. a 19x19 square and a rectangle and the bottem section will have a 19x40 inch or so and a 40x40 inch square. the end pieces will mirror each other and the middle panel will have the bottom third divided into 3 19x19 squares so when you stand back.... the vertical rectangle on left outside will then visually go to the top 19x19 square, an 8x8 block with a letter in it will direct the eye down to the bottom middle square and then back up to the next letter block directing eye to the right side top square, and down to the bottom right vert rectangle.... a big M
