became ill very quickly and was called to heaven. She was loved deeply by all who saw and held her. And the loss was felt
by everyone who heard. Our pretty princess is deeply missed and she now flys with the angels. I know one day we will be able

and organ failure.
"Joseph had his surgery on Thursday. Came home Friday morning, very weak,
not eating. On Monday he started vomiting blood clots, called 911, taken to Emergency Room by ambulance, taken back into surgery
to find where the bleeding was comming from. Dr. stated that his right tonsil area had come loose so he stitched it. I asked
if the left was ok, Dr. said it was fine. Took him home Tuesday morning 7 am. Gave him liquids, still very weak and pale.
Tuesday night, 1:30am, Joseph woke me up for a drink of water. When I turned on the light, his pj's were bloody. I ran to
his bed and there was blood on his bed and pillow. I called the emergency room to let them know that I was bringing Joseph
there and they told me I had to talk to the Dr. first, so the hospital operator connected me to the dr's home. The dr. told
me to bring him to his office on Wednesday at noon instead of going to the hospital, I told him that Joseph needed blood but
it did no good. Wednesday at noon I carried Joseph into the Dr's office because he was too weak to walk. The dr looked into
his eyes and did a quick look over and told me he was fine, to take him home and he would see us in 2 weeks. I was frantic,
I told him I wanted him put into the hospital and given blood, I said look at him! He is pale, his skin is cold and clammy,
he can't even walk because he is so weak! Needless to say, the Dr. told me I was a hysterectal, over reacting mother, that
there was nothing wrong with him, take him home he will be fine. This is around 1 pm. At around 4:30 pm Joseph started hemoraging
again, He started crying and said," mommy please don't leave me", I started crying and told him that I was not going to leave
him, and then his eyes rolled back, he turned grey. I called 911 again and I WAS hysterical this time, I told them that Joseph
wasn't breathing, I told them everything that had been going on all week. I held Joseph in my arms until I heard the ambulance,
then I ran out to the street with him in my arms, the emt's said he was still breathing. They immeadiately put him into the
ambulance and I rode in the front to the hospital. All the Emt's, Drs and the nurses that were there worked so hard to save
him, they prounced him deceased at 7:15 pm. Joseph had no blood in his little body to keep his little heart going... I tried
so hard to get the Dr. to give him blood but he just kept refusing, if he had of, Joseph would be here today...The pain is
so great, there is a hole in my heart that will not be healed until I hold Joseph in my arms again. I have had people tell
me, "At least you have other children". People expect you to forget your child just because you have other kids. They do not
know the pain because they have not lost a child.
I wrote this on Joseph's Birthday, May 19,1998
THE DEATH OF A CHILD IS SUCH A TRAGEDY.
One minute Joseph was telling me he loved me, the next, he was gone. God truley Blessed
me when He placed you in my arms. You were with us 3 1/2 short years, but then you were ripped out of my arms by a man.
I miss your laughter and your smile
I miss your hugs and your kisses
I miss your sweet little voice saying," I love you Mommy". There are so many things that
I will never see you do. I will never see you ride a bike or go to kindergarden. I will never again get to see you chase Butterflies
or catch lightening bugs in a jar. I will never see you Babtised at church. I will never see you drive your first car or go
on your first date. I will never see you go to the Prom or see you graduate. I will never see you go to college or get married.
I will never see the grandchildren you would have given to me. I will never see you open Christmas presents or hunt Easter
eggs again. I will never see you play in the sand with your cars or feel your little arms around me. I will never feel your
breath on my cheek giving me a kiss. I willl never again hear you yell "Mommy" because you are glad to see me.
We miss you so much Joseph. Every day the tears fall, our lives are empty without you.
I will never understand Why? We will never get to see you blow out your Birthday candles on your cake again. I know you are
with Jesus now. What happened to you was so unfair, so cruel, so final..No one will ever, ever hurt you again or turn their
back on you again.
Happy Birthday little Joseph, Jesus will help you blow out your Birthday candles now.
We love you and we miss you, and I promise you that I will hold you again in Heaven, and I won't let you go, because Heaven
is forever..........
You are forever in our hearts and minds, Mommy, Jared, Justin and all the people that
were Blessed by knowing you and Loved you........
