After Jen delivered Blake, the doctor told them that her placenta was starting to detach prior to delivery.  We truly believe that little Blake was looking out for his Mommy.  Pre-mature placental detachment, in rare cases, can cause maternal death, and most likely will result in infant death.  There have been mothers that have bled to death due to this due to hemmoraging that cannot be stopped.  Though the percentage is rare, Jen could have lost her own life along with Blake's.  Maybe Blake knew this, and knew he was not going to survive but wanted to make sure his Mommy stayed here on Earth to take care of his big brother, Brandon.  Brandon is a delightful child, and has an incredibily close bond with his Mommy.  He turned 4-years-old on January 1, 2007.  Brandon is a very smart boy who holds a very bright future.  Brandon is lucky to have such loving parents.  He couldn't have asked for two more qualified and loving parents as Jen and Chris.  May God be with them during this difficult time.  We love you guys, and will always be here for you!
