A CHILD LOST, AN ANGEL FOUND

Little Blake was born into the arms of angels on February 12, 2005. His mommy gave birth to him at 22 weeks gestation. He weighed 1 pound 0.4 ounces and was 11 inches long. As small as he was, he left a lasting impression on all of us that will stay with us for the rest of our lives. He is now our guardian angel that will watch over us and protect us. One day we will all be reunited with him at the gates of heaven; until then we will keep his spirit and memory alive.

For those of you visiting this site that have lost a child whether it be your own child or a close friend or relative, know that you are not alone in this. It is never easy to lose a child no matter when you lose them. This is a very difficult time for a family to get through. Just remember to shed your tears with pride. Be proud of the tears you shed for they are a reminder of how much that child is loved. It is very easy to slip into a depression after something like this happens. It's okay to ask for help. You are never alone. God will help you get through this. God never gives you more than you can handle. Just remember that you are strong and you have to get through this for your child's sake. You now have your very own guardian angel to watch over you. Not just anybody can say that. You are blessed! You are welcome to email me if you need somebody to talk to. I know that this precious angel was not my child, but I feel as if he was. I, too, am having a very difficult time getting through this, but we have to trust in God. He would never guide us wrong. I have worked very hard at making this a warm and inviting place of comfort for people to come to. The people that I have mentioned in this website (my family and friends) mean a lot to me. They all have helped me through some really difficult times. I mention this because somebody posted a message in Blake's guestbook on 8-10-05 with only negative things to say about a very good friend of mine. This deeply upsets me. I know that everybody has the right to their own opinion, but this memorial website is not a place for any negative comments toward my family or friends. I really hate to have to place a "rule" on what you can and cannot post in Blake's guestbook, but since I have received that post (which I immediately removed) it hurt me very deeply, and I feel I had to make everybody aware of that.
