June Taylor's School of Dance is dedicated to providing QUALITY dance instruction following the time proven syllabi of the Royal Academy of Dancing and The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing.  Our school is particularly sensitive to the training of very young children.  Their bodies are at an undeveloped stage and can be damaged easily.  Consequently, the Royal Academy of Dancing syllabus has been developed with extreme care.  It progresses a child in slow stages demanding no more of a young body than which it can safely cope.

June Taylor's School of Dance is also the home of Northwest Dance Theatre, a non-profit dance company which gives pre-professional dancers the opportunity to perform in the greater Portland area.  Northwest Dance Theatre is available for special performances.
