Some people still have questions about the Colonial Spinning Bee. I've tried to answer some here and will update the site as needed.

What do I need to bring?
Bring your spinning equiptment, fiber and chair. Since the event is attended by some expert spinners you might also want to bring your problem projects and questions. Those who want to join us early for the picnic should bring a dish to share.

Should I bring something specific for the Picnic, is there a sign up?
I've been reminded by one of the attendees that it is not a "pot luck" if there is a sign up. I can tell you that I usually bring a salad and drinks.

Is there an admission/vendor fee?
No. You do want to bring some money though as there are several vendors and a silent auction. Donations to our host the "Old Chelmsford" Garrison House for the house tour will also be appreciated.

Can we tour the house?
Tours of the house will be announced throughout the day.

How easy is the site to find?
The "Old Chelmsford" Garrison House is really easy to find.  On Spinning Bee day there are signs along Route 110.  Garrison Road is the first right after crossing into Chelmsford.  The driveway comes up a bit suddenly but will also be marked by a large sign "Event Parking". Parking is in the large field next to the buildings.
