Letter from Will Finck:
On Thursday evening, February 5, from 7 to 9 I will be
leading a civic dialogue established by the sons of
the late Senator Paul Wellstone. I would love to have
former Camdenites both students and teachers who would
be interested in an evening of dialogue.
It would be helpful to read the introduction and the
first chapter of his last book before he was killed in
the plane crash, The Conscience of a Liberal. The
project is open to all political persuasions.
The get together will be from 7-9 on Thursday evening,
February 5, in the library at Prospect High School.
The following will be the introductory discussion
activity: Tell a story about something you did that
had a positive impact in your school, community,
neighborhood, city, state, or nation. What happened?
Who was involved? What did you bring to the effort?
What did you and others learn from it?
I would be honored if any former students or teachers
from Camden would join the group for the evening. If
interested, please contact me via E-mail or phone me
at 408-374-5199 or 408-504-3432.
I hope to hear from you.
Meaningfully,
Will Finck
