Camden High
School Alumni |
| *NEW* Class of 1968 Reunion Information |
A small, but ever growing group of Ex-Camden high school students have gotten together and created an on-line community of Camden High School. On these pages you will find links to Cougars Tales, our old school newspaper, now published on the World Wide Web.
Staying in touch is always our most difficult challenge. The Camden community has developed several ways to find each other again. We have two different forums for you to choose from, one is hosted by Yahoo and one is hosted privately. Both are free to sign up and you can be as involved with either one as much as you want.
CamdenChatter is our Yahoo Group and our newest and still growing
CamdenForum which is privately hosted.
If
you are looking for old classmates these are the places to start
We
also organize a once a year gathering of all ex-Camden students, friends and
family at the old Campus (now a shopping center.) The Next "All Year
Reunion" will be held on July 25, 2009 at the community center park (which used
to be the old gym and field). This will be the 8th annual gathering.
Each year as the word spreads they get bigger and more fun. Music, food
and fun are always the order of the day and as with all things we do this is
noncommercial and free. Check out photos from passed All Year Reunions
by going to the AYR Page
We have many ways to get in touch with your old classmates and teachers. Just
jump in and make new friends from the many great people that made up Camden High.
One of our more enterprising volunteers ('74 Tom Rose) has resurrected Cougar's
Tales and publishes it several times a year on the web. It's always a treat
and if you would like to look at past issues Click Here
So
if you just surfed by and have no idea what or where Camden High is you may be
wondering why anyone would care about their old high school. Camden High was built
in 1955 in San Jose, California. It was built right on one of the busiest corners
of prime real estate and as it turned out, the site was sold, the school was torn
down and a strip mall sprang up in it's place. These pages, our E-mail
lists and of course the people that made up Camden High is all we have left.
