A Lake Highlands, Texas group has singled out and threatened 58 yr old Vietnam Veteran Frank Larison, with fines
and the towing of his vehicle, simply because he has a number of bumper stickers and window decals on his truck!! One of which
was a USMC emblem. How friggin ridiculous are we going to let this country get? I wasn't able to get an address, phone,
or fax for this group, however I did find an email address for the president of the Association, a Darenda Hardy - every
patriotic American should bombard her with emails expressing outrage over the harassment that this Veteran is experiencing.

An Arizona man who has waged a 10-year campaign to stop a flood of illegal
immigrants from crossing his property is being sued by 16 Mexican nationals who accuse him of conspiring to violate their
civil rights when he stopped them at gunpoint on his ranch on the U.S.-Mexico border.
Roger Barnett, 64, began rounding
up illegal immigrants in 1998 and turning them over to the U.S. Border Patrol, he said, after they destroyed his property,
killed his calves and broke into his home.
His Cross Rail Ranch near Douglas, Ariz., is known by federal and county
law enforcement authorities as "the avenue of choice" for immigrants seeking to enter the United States illegally.
Trial
continues Monday in the federal lawsuit, which seeks $32 million in actual and punitive damages for civil rights violations,
the infliction of emotional distress and other crimes. Also named are Mr. Barnett's wife, Barbara, his brother, Donald, and
Larry Dever, sheriff in Cochise County, Ariz., where the Barnetts live. The civil trial is expected to continue until Friday.
The lawsuit is based on a March 7, 2004, incident in a dry wash on the 22,000-acre ranch,
when he approached a group of illegal immigrants while carrying a gun and accompanied by a large dog.
Attorneys for
the immigrants - five women and 11 men who were trying to cross illegally into the United States - have accused Mr. Barnett
of holding the group captive at gunpoint, threatening to turn his dog loose on them and saying he would shoot anyone who tried
to escape.
The immigrants are represented at trial by the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF),
which also charged that Sheriff Dever did nothing to prevent Mr. Barnett from holding their clients at "gunpoint, yelling
obscenities at them and kicking one of the women."
In the lawsuit, MALDEF said Mr. Barnett approached the group as
the immigrants moved through his property, and that he was carrying a pistol and threatening them in English and Spanish.
At one point, it said, Mr. Barnett's dog barked at several of the women and he yelled at them in Spanish, "My dog is hungry
and he's hungry for buttocks."
The lawsuit said he then called his wife and two Border Patrol agents arrived at the
site. It also said Mr. Barnett acknowledged that he had turned over 12,000 illegal immigrants to the Border Patrol since
1998.
In March, U.S. District Judge John Roll rejected a motion by Mr. Barnett to have the charges dropped,
ruling there was sufficient evidence to allow the matter to be presented to a jury. Mr. Barnett's attorney, David Hardy, had
argued that illegal immigrants did not have the same rights as U.S. citizens.
Mr. Barnett told The Washington Times
in a 2002 interview that he began rounding up illegal immigrants after they started to vandalize his property, northeast of
Douglas along Arizona Highway 80. He said the immigrants tore up water pumps, killed calves, destroyed fences and gates, stole
trucks and broke into his home.
Some of his cattle died from ingesting the plastic bottles left behind by the immigrants,
he said, adding that he installed a faucet on an 8,000-gallon water tank so the immigrants would stop damaging the tank to
get water.
Mr. Barnett said some of the ranch´s established immigrant trails were littered with trash 10 inches deep,
including human waste, used toilet paper, soiled diapers, cigarette packs, clothes, backpacks, empty 1-gallon water bottles,
chewing-gum wrappers and aluminum foil - which supposedly is used to pack the drugs the immigrant smugglers give their "clients"
to keep them running.
He said he carried a pistol during his searches for the immigrants and had a rifle in his truck
"for protection" against immigrant and drug smugglers, who often are armed.
A former Cochise County sheriff´s deputy
who later was successful in the towing and propane business, Mr. Barnett spent $30,000 on electronic sensors, which he has
hidden along established trails on his ranch. He searches the ranch for illegal immigrants in a pickup truck, dressed in a
green shirt and camouflage hat, with his handgun and rifle, high-powered binoculars and a walkie-talkie.
His sprawling
ranch became an illegal-immigration highway when the Border Patrol diverted its attention to several border towns in an effort
to take control of the established ports of entry. That effort moved the illegal immigrants to the remote areas of the border,
including the Cross Rail Ranch.
"This is my land. I´m the victim here," Mr. Barnett said. "When someone´s home and
loved ones are in jeopardy and the government seemingly can´t do anything about it, I feel justified in taking matters into
my own hands. And I always watch my back."

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville voters rejected a proposal on Thursday that
would have made it the largest U.S. city to require that all government business be done in English.
With 100 percent of precincts reporting, unofficial results showed the
"English First" proposal losing with about 57 percent of voters against it and 43 percent in favor. Proponents said using
one language would have united the city and saved money, but business leaders, academics and the city's mayor worried it could
give the city a bad reputation. Similar measures have passed elsewhere.
"The results of this special election reaffirms Nashville's identity as
a welcoming and friendly city, and our ability to come together as a community," Mayor Karl Dean said in a news release.
The referendum's leader, city Councilman Eric Crafton, had promoted it
as a way to unite Nashville and prevent the kind of extensive translation services - and the associated expenses - provided
by cities like New York or Los Angeles. He has pushed for English only since 2006 and got the issue before voters through
a petition drive.
"I support the collective wisdom of the voters. I am not going to bring
English up again because the people of Nashville have spoken," Crafton said during a phone interview late Thursday.
It wasn't clear exactly how much translation would have been silenced had
the measure passed. While it called for all government communication and publications to be printed in English, it would have
allowed an exception for public health and safety.
The only documented expenditure is for Monterey, Calif.-based Language
Line Services, which provides phone interpretations in 176 languages. Expenses for the service have totaled $522,287 since
2004. By comparison, the special election cost $300,000.
Nearly one in five registered voters cast ballots Thursday, a high turnout
for a special election in Nashville. A total of 73,896 people cast ballots, compared with 51,484 people who voted in the last
special election in 2005.
Supporter Glenda Paul, 35, said as she exited a voting precinct Thursday
that having one language is an important part of keeping government small.
"If I moved to France to start a business, I would be expected to speak
French and that doesn't mean that I am not welcome there. It just means I need to respect the language."
But Claire King, 31, who lives in East Nashville, said Thursday that she
voted against the amendment because "it sends a message of intolerance."
The debate over establishing a national language is centuries old.
In 1780, John Adams proposed to the Continental Congress an academy be
created to "purify, develop, and dictate usage of" English, the American Civil Liberties Union reports. His proposal was rejected
as undemocratic.
Thirty states, including Tennessee, and at least a dozen cities have declared
English their official language, said K.C. McAlpin, executive director of the Arlington, Va.-based ProEnglish which contributed
at least $19,000 to support the referendum. Opponents collected about $300,000.
About 10 percent of Nashville's nearly 600,000 people speak a language
other than English in their homes, according to census data. The city is 5 percent Hispanic and home to the nation's largest
Kurdish community and refugees from Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

off could get you a ticket in one Michigan city. The Brighton City Council on Thursday approved an ordinance allowing
police in the Livingston County community to ticket and fine anyone who is annoying in public "by word of mouth, sign or motions."
The Livingston County Daily Press & Argus of Howell reports the measure
is modeled on a similar ordinance in the Detroit suburb of Royal Oak.
A city attorney says there could be situations where the measure would
violate freedom of speech, but that those cases will be reviewed by the city.
The ban takes effect Jan. 2.

drivers. The borrowed car I was driving in Palmdale on May 22nd was pelted with pieces of fruit by two cowardly
hispanic guys in an older green pickup truck at the stoplight at 47th St East and
Ave S. They apparently didn't like seeing my American flag lying in the passenger seat.They turned east on Ave S into
that residential zone. Fortunately no damage to the car, but this goes to show you once again how these people have

Idaho student says teacher tossed his Mexican flag in trash
TWIN FALLS, Idaho - A high school student says he
may file a lawsuit against a physical education teacher who took a Mexican flag he had brought for Cinco de Mayo and put it
in the garbage.
Clint Straatman denies Froylan Camelo's version of events but said he took
the flag Monday because "white kids" might have hurt the 16-year-old. He said he put it in a garbage can because he had no
place else to keep it.
Camelo said he was changing into gym clothes at Minico High School in Rupert
when Straatman told him, "Give me the flag."
"I said, 'What's the problem?'" Camelo, speaking in Spanish, told The Times-News
of Twin Falls. "He said, 'The problem is that we are in the United States and not in Mexico.' He grabbed it from me. He threw
the flag in the garbage can."
Camelo said that Straatman told him the flag would be returned at the end
of the school day, but that Straatman taunted him instead.
"I asked, 'Where is my flag?'" Camelo said. "He said, 'What, the U.S. flag?'
I said, 'No, the one for Mexico.' But he wouldn't give it to me."
Camelo said he then took the undamaged flag out of the garbage. He said
he's been contacted by the American Civil Liberties Union and is considering a lawsuit against Straatman.
Camelo and others brought Mexican flags to the south-central Idaho school
to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, the May 5 recognition of Mexico's victory over the French army on that day in 1862. About a third
of the student body is Hispanic.
Straatman denied saying the words Camelo attributed to him, and said the
student may have misunderstood him because of his poor English skills. He said he took the flag from Camelo after Camelo had
been waving it in the school gym, and denied withholding it later.
"I had to confiscate it so it wouldn't escalate any problems in class,"
Straatman told The Times-News. "We're worried about that stuff all the time. We always have kids saying stuff to each other,
and we have a lot of fights between kids."
Scott Rogers, superintendent of the Minidoka County Joint School District,
said an investigation has been started. He said he could not comment specifically about personnel decisions.
"We believe in nondiscriminatory practices and cultural sensitivity," he
said. "We train for that and talk about that. If there is a teacher making derogatory comments we don't approve of that. We
also don't approve of a student disrupting the classroom."
Rogers said he was at the school early Wednesday and that the school was
quiet. He said he noticed a few students wearing clothing in the colors of the Mexican flag - red, white and green - in protest
of Monday's incident.

Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum in Tucson flying a mexican flag.........this used to be one of the best zoos in the Southwest, now it is so overcrowded with rowdy kids and teens who brag

European Photographers - WTF???What is up with all these arrogant

WTF is up with people coming late to an airshow and expecting
others to move out of the way to make room for them?
At Sunday's (8/20) Camarillo airshow, I made a special effort
to be one of the first people in the small set of grandstands, and also made a small amount of elbow room in front of me by
placing my camera bags right there, as opposed to putting them down next to my feet, where I might accidentally kick the bags
to the ground. So a few hours go by, and the stands are full by the time the airshow is about to start, except for the space being occupied by my camera bags. So this middle age couple shows up about
1pm and asks if they could sit there. Well I thought about saying "tough shit - the stands are full - if you want a front
row seat, get here earlier!" but decided not to, out of not wanting to look like an asshole in front of so many people. So
I slowly and grudgingly moved my bags down by my feet so they could sit there. It was the woman who made the request, so I
know who wears the pants in their family. But even after they took their seats, neither one of these idiots had the decency
to say "thank you". I'll tell you one thing. I will NEVER do that again. Tough shit people. You want a good seat? you get
your ass to the airshow when the gates open at 8am. Bastards.

Book banning to begin in a Chicago suburb high school district?
A controversy over several books in a Chicago area suburb's
high school district has popped up because of the potential banning of these books because a few parents, religious people
and even one board member are 'offended' by the books' content. The books are: Jurt Vonneguts 'Slaughterhouse Five", "The
Things They Carried" (a Vietnam war novel) by Tim o Brien, and "Beloved" by Toni Morrison. I did a quick google and came up

Ok, so finally Bush comes to the conclusion we could use
National Guard troops for the US-Mexico border, great idea, I'm all for that. But then he turns right around and tells mexico
"oh it's only temporary". WTF! WHY do we have to justify this or explain it to Mexico??? WTF??? They don't run our borders.........the
hell with them. We do NOT have to justify our border protection to anyone.

Oh man, I can't even watch these news reports showing all

I was amazed recently, at the Riverside, Calif
airshow in March, when announcer Sandy Sanders made it clear that he didn't know the difference between a Christen Eagle,
and a Pitts S2 biplane. Come on, you'd think these airshow announcers
would have taken Aircraft Identification 101 and passed it! LOL. And don't even get
me started on Rob Reider's performance at the 2005 Miramar airshow. Go back to school Rob! The guy's an idiot.

lead singer commented that the American public has "really dumbed down" - well I have to agree with that 100%. We have really
become a society full of not only stupid, but fat, and lazy whiners. Example - I heard a bit on the radio from an excerpt
of an upcoming "reality" tv show, in which they were talking about a cattle drive, and driving the herd - well on comes this
female voice and she whines about how she doesn't even know what that is, and makes an unbelievably stupid comment about getting
in a car and driving the herd! Come on! Can anyone really be THAT friggin stupid? LOL PATHETIC.

What the hell is this crap? now dead women gotta have the

FINALLY! Some people are beginning to wake up and see the
real problem of illegal immigration - a county in Idaho has begun taking various local businesses (those who hire illegals)
to court over the costs of this issue.

Gil Cedillo is at it again, trying to revive his bill that would allow illegals to obtain drivers licenses. Not only that,
but he also seems to think illegals already here, that are attending college (which they should NOT be anyways!), should be
allowed to stay here, instead of being deported, so there's another bill he's trying to get off the ground, SB160. This is
a joke! Where is all the anger from California citizens?? Oh no, I'm sorry, it's not PC to be angry at illegal aliens, God
forbid I should offend one and hurt their feelings, LOL. Are we going to just continue to be complacent (read: fat,
lazy and ignorant) while these people continue to come here and take jobs from us???? If you feel as strongly about this as
I do, please write your elected officials and let them know. You can go over to Congress.org and look them up. I mean,

Dumb Woman Sues Local Radio Station for Gag. Some lady in Lexington, Kentucky is suing a radio station there, for "breach of contract" after
she won a 100 Grand, which actually turned out to be a candy bar of the same name, lol. This is actually a fairly common morning
radio prank. So she's suing the station to get money because of her own stupidity! Hilarious.........and people in the south
wonder why they are the butt of jokes out here, lol.

Nazis and Soviets, and people are acting all shocked about this - well, maybe the Senator's comment hit a little too close
to the truth for some people - many individuals in our military have really been embarrassing this country with their behavior.
Hell, these punks may as well be terrorists too. The United States military is better than this! It's not just the stuff going on in the middle east, but for years, other countries that allow us to maintain bases
on their territory have had to deal with some really crappy stuff from some of our people in uniform, particularly Okinawa
and Japan. It's no wonder we are hated in so many places!
