Our meeting was called to order at 1:27 pm.

Reading of the Minutes: Tonya Shrawder read the minutes from the last meeting at PaSRBA Convention on February
7th, 2009. There were no additions or corrections. Paul Becker made the motion to accept the minutes, and Rick
Cope Seconded it.
President's Report: Rick reported the Club is in excellent condition, our membership maintains some of the highest
numbers we have ever had and the Rex entries at our Specialty shows are still up despite current economic situations.
Treasurer's Report: Ben Haagen read the Treasurer's report. [For members wishing to have a detiled copy

bhaagen@kcsd.k12.pa.us] Rick Cope made the motion to accept the treasurer's report as read, and Gary Shollenberger Seconded it.
Unfinished Business: Rick Cope reported that all updates to the Constitution and By-Laws were voted as accepted by email.
New Buisness: As acting Director for PaSRBA, Rick Cope reported there will be some changes to the routine for our
Annual Rex Specialty Shows at PaSRBA Convention. The Club tabels will no longer be free, we will be charged $50 per
table, and the table must be moved to the food court, putting an end to our annual bake sale. Paul Becker made a motion
to cancle the bake sale, Gary Shollenberger Seconded it, all present were in favor. Rick also reports that PaSRBA will
start charging clubs for cleanup if they do not wish to stay and help. There will be no change in Judging fees for clubs.
Other New Business: Paul Becker reported that Donna Bowker is running for NRRC Director. The clubs in the
East remain unrepresented by the NRRC. Donna sent information to Paul Becker which he reported to us:
The North East Rex Club would like to join the Mason-Dixon Rex RBA, to make a bid for the 2012 Rex Nationals, in North Haven,
CT. Harold Schmidt explained to members present that they have hosted numerous Breed Nationals with success each year,
and Hotels, Banquet, Cages and Airport are close by. Donna Bowker would be Secretary for the bid. All present
voted in favor of the bid and collecting volunteers - no Nays.
Under Other New Business: Rick Cope announced that the current Carole Paxson Memorial Traveling Trophy has 2 remaining
spots, 2009 & 2010. Paul Becker then announced that our club will begin the new Mike Wade Traveling
Trophy starting in 2011. Each following year for 12 years total, the BOB winners from our Fall Specialty
Shows will have their name engraved on the spaces provided and will carry the trophy to the next Fall Specialty
Show. At the end of 12 years, whoever has their name on the trophy the most times, will keep the trophy.
Next Meeting & Show dates: Tonya Shrawder reports that our next forthcoming show will be held October 10th,
2009 at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center, PA. Our next meeting will be held at PaSRBA Convention, on Saturday, February
6th, 2010.
