The Amber Rex Variety is genetically a Chocolate Agouti: A_ bb C_ D_ E_
Paul (Skip) Becker is the original variety developer for the Amber Rex Variety! His Final presentation passed successfully
at the ARBA Convention in Grand Rapids this October. Their Standard will be published in "Domestic Rabbits" in
January and they will be eligible to win legs as of February 1, 2008! Please congratulate

ARBA Working Standard:
AMBER REX --
Surface color to be light reddish brown carried well down the
sides, lightly and evenly tipped with chocolate. Intermediate ring color to be golden orange, clearly defined over dove-gray
undercolor. Belly is to be white or tan over dove-gray undercolor. Eyes - Brown, ruby cast permissible.
Faults - Indistinct intermediate band, failure to
show dove-gray undercolor on belly.
