A New Beginning...

Ah, a new blog. This loads a bit faster than Xanga, and it's definitely faster than mySpace, so I'll try this out and see if I'm more diligent about updating. I'll have something interesting to talk about, at least: my upcoming trip to China!

IMPORTANT

There is an easy way to keep track of my posts, and that is to use an RSS feed. This only works in Firefox and Safari (and maybe AOL). If you are using Internet Explorer, you are out of luck (unless you are using the Windows Vista Beta). It's very easy.

In Safari, look up at the address bar. On the right side you will see a blue box that says "RSS". Click on it. The page will slide out of the way and be replaced by the RSS version. Make a bookmark (Command-D). In Firefox 1.5, there is a little orange box with radio waves in the address bar. Click on it, and it will ask you where to put the bookmark.
Click OK to put it in the bookmarks bar. In an earlier version of Firefox, look in the bottom right corner of the browser window.

In Safari, whenever I update a post, a little number will pop up next to the bookmark.
Click on the bookmark, and it will let you see all of my posts, including text and pictures. Click on the title of a post to go to an individual entry. Click on the blue "RSS" in the address bar to go to my main blog page. In Firefox, you have to check manually by clicking on the bookmark. You will see a list of posts. If you see a new one, click on it, and you will go to my post.

Once you click on a post, you can add comments. I love comments.

  • My friend Joey had that same camera in Australia. Quite high quality. Something tells me I didn't have to tell you that.
