CAMPING

Carol and I enjoy camping in the Southern California area.  There are some very pretty areas here that most people would not associate with Southern California.  Most of the time we camp with the "Zola's Pleasure Palace" group.  A group from a local BBS.

Angeles Crest.

Angeles Crest is a pretty area only two hours out of the San Fernando Valley.  We go up there a couple times a year.  Here is what our group looks like at Angeles Crest.

Our whole group under a shade at Angeles Crest.  Carol and I are in the back center.  Our trips are family oriented but what goes on after the kids go to sleep can be wild. Zola (Nancy) is the dynamo that organizes our trips.  She is the lady left center in the green dress.  Zola is the Sysop of the Pleasure Palace BBS.  Carol and I are lower left.  Diggity is lower center, watching the show.

Leo Carrillo.

Leo Carrillo is a campground where the moutains meet the sea.  We only go there once a year, but during that weekend we have half a mountain to ourselves.

Tracy overlooking our camp ground.  The large blue tent is actually our shade cover.  You can see our tents around the shade. This is what our tents look like around the shade.  The beaches are just a short walk away from our tents.  What a great place to spend your weekend.

Carol is a fantastic cook.  Give her a stove and stand back.  Here she is making us breakfast.  You should have been there This is our home away from home.  I have some fond memorys of what went on in that little tent.
